no problem, my guy, done everything from brakes, to wheels and tires, to taking out and putting in engines and transmissions, nice side hustle
even some body work
mostly on older cars and trucks though
Nice! Glad they made this subchapter for vehicles.
i know, right?
Its all about the KISS method
Keep it simple, stupid
๐ My CNC programming instructor used to preach KISS like it was the Bible
My foreman drilled that into my head when I was an apprentice
Muh baby. I did most of the work myself.
3.0 V6 Supercharged with smaller supercharger pulley and larger crank pulley. Upgraded coolant pump with larger intercooler in the front as you can see.
Should be around 400awhp
@Big Igloo Ben where at
Nice my dad just got the RS7. Thing has just about 800hp he also has an S5 convertible in the copper color. Heโs insane
I'm a big fan of the audis. no im not biased because i work on them
Tbh they're the most comfortable/best looking of the European big 3 imo
Yea I love them. I had an A6 a while back. Thatโs when my dad learned he liked Audi more than ford lol
RS7 is a beast. The new RS3 is a rocket. It can hit like 9secs in a 1/4 mile with just bolt ons
@tstonge central Illinois
@Big Igloo Ben too far for me. I'm always looking for parts for mine
Yea my dads rs7 is 0-100 in 4 seconds I believe right now
6 seconds my bad
Just make sure he keeps the oil chaged or hes gonna have to get turbos amd those arent cheap ๐ฌ๐ฌ
@tstonge well what do you need? I could ship small stuff
@Big Igloo Ben actually nothing atm but ill keep it in imind
Gotta love it ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
I discovered part of the steering pump pulley was grinding against my coolant reservoir
Because dodge
Eeeeew
Sounds like that good ol' FCA engineering
Found something that might be useful for shit
That shit is EXPENSIVE but I'd be down for a killdozer type 2
Ya know, in minecraft and such
But only if it has a copy of the turret off the USS monitor
What are your guys go to vehicles? And preferred mods? Ex. Comms, lifted, efi vs. Carb, etc
If i had the funds to have a dedicated vehicle id have an armored toyota landcruiser. You can pick em up for around 10k as UN decommissioned. Efi for sure just because i dont do great work on a carburetor and modern efi systems are uber reliable. Probably not lifted. Maybe 2 inchs but definitely some aggressive tires and massive shocks to hold the armor.
Oof
Iโll stick with my Subaru wagon. ๐
