*bruh*
No I have not Officer, and I don’t have to answer your questions
Depends on the size of course
I'm talking about filtering fuel, friend. Not doing anything illegal with them.
They can be modified to muffle firearms but of course that would necessitate the $200 tax stamp and all that.
But if the fuel flow is still just as loud as unfiltered, then they aren't worth the weight. Real world use info is hard to come by
The problem lies in the flimsier construction of a lot of these things, like a size 22 fuel line would probably be okay but a size 556 fuel line might rupture the filter nomsayin.
Makes sense. Hadn't thought of that.
Of course, they can also be made to be very durable and effective. Solvent trap kits work too and there are plenty of good ones available for pretty cheap but you have to go through the same process with the paperwork and $200 if you ever wanted to make it functional in that way, according to the NFA.
I would never dream of drilling holes in a perfectly functional solvent trap.
Not without the proper paperwork.
Right? It just werks. Saves me money on solvents.
Besides, I love my dog too much to pull some shit like that.
Fuel filter? thats a funny way to say Soup
Any one in here a fellow Big Bore AR enthusiast?
I don't have one yet but boy do I want one in 450 bushmaster
Whitey in my profile pic is a .450
How do you like it
It’s my favorite AR. She bangs.
Ever do any hunting with it or just punch paper
Pretty easy. $30-40 for 20. I buy every box I find.
Ive been playing with the idea of building a 458 when I co.e back state side
I built a .458 for @Reaper67
Not easy to find ammo
Yea 458 isn't saami approved so a lot of ammo manufacturers won't touch it
Hard to find reloading data too
That’s s why I went with .450
I figured it, from what I seen when I make trips home, any ammo bigger than 30-06 is harder to find.
350 legend and .450 bushmaster is pretty common
I believe it, just never really looked for it.
But. Everyone needs a “f—k you” gun. .458 would definitely be it
Yeah my thoughts exactly
458 hamr 👌
Noob question, how does recoil of rifles compare to a 12 gauge shotgun with a wooden stock?
Depends on the rifle but most 556 ARs are barely more than 22s
450 is close to the same recoil. Most ar calibers don’t have much
223 has minimal
Do the big bore ARs use AR10 buffers?
No.
.458 SOCOM ftw, who cares if it’s expensive to shoot and you can’t find any pews for it 85% of the time 😂😂😂
