*bruh*

2020-04-30 09:03:47 UTC

No I have not Officer, and I don’t have to answer your questions

2020-04-30 09:03:49 UTC

Depends on the size of course

2020-04-30 09:04:19 UTC

I'm talking about filtering fuel, friend. Not doing anything illegal with them.

2020-04-30 09:05:17 UTC

They can be modified to muffle firearms but of course that would necessitate the $200 tax stamp and all that.

2020-04-30 09:05:19 UTC

But if the fuel flow is still just as loud as unfiltered, then they aren't worth the weight. Real world use info is hard to come by

2020-04-30 09:06:38 UTC

The problem lies in the flimsier construction of a lot of these things, like a size 22 fuel line would probably be okay but a size 556 fuel line might rupture the filter nomsayin.

2020-04-30 09:08:11 UTC

Makes sense. Hadn't thought of that.

2020-04-30 09:10:57 UTC

Of course, they can also be made to be very durable and effective. Solvent trap kits work too and there are plenty of good ones available for pretty cheap but you have to go through the same process with the paperwork and $200 if you ever wanted to make it functional in that way, according to the NFA.

2020-04-30 09:11:39 UTC

I would never dream of drilling holes in a perfectly functional solvent trap.

2020-04-30 09:12:08 UTC

Not without the proper paperwork.

2020-04-30 09:12:15 UTC

Right? It just werks. Saves me money on solvents.

2020-04-30 09:12:33 UTC

Besides, I love my dog too much to pull some shit like that.

2020-04-30 10:15:21 UTC

Fuel filter? thats a funny way to say Soup

2020-04-30 10:24:20 UTC

Any one in here a fellow Big Bore AR enthusiast?

2020-04-30 10:24:51 UTC

I don't have one yet but boy do I want one in 450 bushmaster

2020-04-30 10:25:13 UTC

Whitey in my profile pic is a .450

2020-04-30 10:25:46 UTC

How do you like it

2020-04-30 10:26:14 UTC

It’s my favorite AR. She bangs.

2020-04-30 10:26:32 UTC

Ever do any hunting with it or just punch paper

2020-04-30 10:26:35 UTC

How is it finding ammo?

2020-04-30 10:27:49 UTC

Pretty easy. $30-40 for 20. I buy every box I find.

2020-04-30 10:29:08 UTC

Ive been playing with the idea of building a 458 when I co.e back state side

2020-04-30 10:29:47 UTC

I built a .458 for @Reaper67

2020-04-30 10:30:16 UTC

Not easy to find ammo

2020-04-30 10:30:46 UTC

Yea 458 isn't saami approved so a lot of ammo manufacturers won't touch it

2020-04-30 10:30:57 UTC

Hard to find reloading data too

2020-04-30 10:31:48 UTC

That’s s why I went with .450

2020-04-30 10:32:33 UTC

I figured it, from what I seen when I make trips home, any ammo bigger than 30-06 is harder to find.

2020-04-30 10:33:30 UTC

350 legend and .450 bushmaster is pretty common

2020-04-30 10:34:14 UTC

I believe it, just never really looked for it.

2020-04-30 10:36:17 UTC

But. Everyone needs a “f—k you” gun. .458 would definitely be it

2020-04-30 10:46:16 UTC

Yeah my thoughts exactly

2020-04-30 10:47:51 UTC

458 hamr 👌

2020-04-30 10:50:17 UTC

Noob question, how does recoil of rifles compare to a 12 gauge shotgun with a wooden stock?

2020-04-30 10:50:58 UTC

Depends on the rifle but most 556 ARs are barely more than 22s

2020-04-30 10:51:18 UTC

450 is close to the same recoil. Most ar calibers don’t have much

2020-04-30 10:51:48 UTC

223 has minimal

2020-04-30 10:51:51 UTC

Do the big bore ARs use AR10 buffers?

2020-04-30 10:52:06 UTC

No.

2020-04-30 10:54:27 UTC

.458 SOCOM ftw, who cares if it’s expensive to shoot and you can’t find any pews for it 85% of the time 😂😂😂
