Not sure yet
Like honestly, the grip tape was an awesome cheap mod.
It's actually a camoflauge barrel wrap tape. But... it's basically a thick padded grip tape
I might end up upgrading the trigger. I'll putting a red dot and some suppressor height sights on though. Maybe get a threaded barrel down the line too.
Gonna regret that grip tape later bud
So far I haven't. I even went so far as to put it on my ARs with A2 handles. But hey, if it gets to be a pain, I'll remove it.
Actually, while I have some time. I'm gonna do a little shooting before work.
Why regret it? @Crye_Salesman
I can think of two possible reasons... 1 That most tapes have a sticky residue that can be left on the weapon's surface. Mine does not, so I'm good there. And 2, the material itself can start to irritate the shooter or possibly come loose from friction/wear and tear.
However, even if that were the case, it is very simple for me to remove.
It's not a permanent fixture, just something to add a little extra meat on the grip.
Yeah that’s true. Idk I feel like I would like grip tape.
Stippling is nice but it’s a little slippery to me
I use Monett Self-Cling concealment wrap. Camo form LT
Made in the good ole USA
Looking to build a budget AR-15, don't really care if I have to piecemeal and assemble the parts but I do want it to be complete as opposed to an 80%er. Unless one of you kind gentleman has a drill press and experience with it. Any suggestions on online gun markets/manufacturers
Well... There's always PSA, but if you want to spend a little more for better QC, Aero.
I would recommend you save up a little bit, and use Aero receivers.
Many thanks, I was looking at those two. Seemed like a safe bet. Aero even has the pew pew pew model lower for sale currently
Drilling out an 80% will only really save you like $40-$50. If you don’t have the equipment and aren’t planing on doing several I would just go with a stripped lower. Pick one up for around $100.
Second for a stripped lower build you can save a bunch of money. Psa anderson and bear creek are good enough.
>budget AR-15
Areo
I’ll go ahead and say that any AR is better than no AR
Even a fucking omni 😂
I would avoid polymer lowers
Not really tho cause if it doesn’t work it’s not an AR
I personally have never had an AR that didn’t work. Not all of them worked great but worked none the less
Peeped this Chinese riot armor earlier this week. Is this acceptable Hawaiian Picnic attire?

Please wear it.

@American_AF my fondest wish. 200 bones worth of 556 might be a more prudent investment though
Get both.

I can’t be the only idiot in here that spends all his money on ammo and parts.
I don’t think I have bought any 5.56 in at least 4 months.
I'm waiting to see if I get a bonus at work, if I do I'm sooo tempted. I hope it fits
Lol. I just bought all the .450 from every gun store from Cincinnati to Dayton (all the stores that were open)
Thankfully they didn’t try to cap the amount
Nice new role @American_AF
