@[MS] Foxtrot795 is the left the vcrown? Sig

2020-05-03 05:21:53 UTC

@Artemis about the same with a 9 and 40 experience-wise. Main reason for the trade was she wanted something bigger and she loved my Shield 9, and I happened to run across the Shield 40 and worked a deal on it. And I want to have all the different variations on the M&P series anyway since they’re my favorite line of firearms.

@Vanpoon(OK) indeed they are.

2020-05-03 05:22:21 UTC

While I wouldn't use this in a shotgun even if I used a shotgun because juries would flip shit if they saw it, but daaaaaamn

@[MS] Foxtrot795 thats my current 9mm carry. I actually carry the same barnes in 45 too

2020-05-03 05:23:01 UTC

It’s not loading. Is it the kitchen sink rounds?

2020-05-03 05:23:34 UTC

All I’m missing is the .45 and I’ll have all the Shield calibers

2020-05-03 05:23:47 UTC

Imagine a 12 gauge sized RIP round, big enough that the petals actually do something instead of decreasing lethality like in pistol rounds

2020-05-03 05:24:08 UTC

Oof

2020-05-03 05:24:25 UTC

Looks like an asterisk the size of your hand

2020-05-03 05:24:32 UTC

@Artemis that warning shot though

2020-05-03 05:24:59 UTC

My warning shots are aimed at center mass

Double barrel 2 bore because fuck your shoulder

2020-05-03 05:30:52 UTC

And your target, along with his cover

2020-05-03 05:31:22 UTC

Pull both triggers and unleash an entire pound of lead

2020-05-03 05:31:41 UTC

Its like the puct gun lol

2020-05-03 05:31:50 UTC

Punt gun

2020-05-03 05:47:22 UTC

Me:
Hmm should I pay for some more training or build a recce gucci gat...

2020-05-03 05:47:44 UTC

*starts researching barrels*

2020-05-03 05:51:37 UTC

Jokes aside there's a barrel manufacturer I've been looking at. 0.875 diameter 18" 223wylde bull barrel that shoots 0.5moa with good ammo, but weighs 1.6 pounds because it's tensioned with vented carbon fiber

2020-05-03 05:52:43 UTC

Hop in VC my dude

2020-05-03 05:52:44 UTC

Messaged the company as some tension barrels aren't very durable but there's little info on this one other than raving reviews about accuracy under high volumes of fire

2020-05-03 05:52:59 UTC

If you can 🤷🏽‍♂️

2020-05-03 05:53:01 UTC

Can't, I'm not somewhere I can right now

2020-05-03 05:53:08 UTC

Ah shit sorry man

2020-05-03 06:35:14 UTC

https://survivalarmor.com/

Anybody know anything about them?
Their rampart III+ looks intriguing.

2020-05-03 16:57:15 UTC

Recce is supposed to be a lighter recon rifle. I wouldn't go any thicker than a normal government profile. Though I'd reccomend a Gunner's profile.

2020-05-03 17:06:09 UTC

@Sparrow Well that's where it's a little different though. It has the physical size, harmonics, and accuracy under heat as a bull barrel, but same weight as a faxon gunner profile of the same length

2020-05-03 17:08:11 UTC

Wait, what? Oooh, I see. Carbon fiber. That's why

2020-05-03 17:08:29 UTC

Yeah that's a light barrel. My 20" gunner's profile is 2 lbs exactly

2020-05-03 17:09:47 UTC

The cf only touches the barrel at the extension, gas block, and muzzle so there's no delamination issues like other cf barrels have. At 18" it's just under 1.6lb

2020-05-03 17:10:00 UTC

You’ll get more at of working out and paying for training than wasting a bunch of money on carbon fiber barrels

2020-05-03 17:10:02 UTC

Imo

2020-05-03 17:12:18 UTC

I do both, but I also like stuff like this. Sorta like building overpowered computers or fast cars
