@COGhost i would recommend some form of a wonder 9mm for your first handgun. Something to carry daily

2020-05-03 18:59:56 UTC

I’m getting a Canik TP9 for my first very soon. Heard very good things about them

2020-05-03 19:00:23 UTC

Who here has checked out pen testing?

2020-05-03 19:01:14 UTC

Beretta m9? 😂

2020-05-03 19:03:19 UTC

@COGhost havent handled one before. Not my flavor of da sa

2020-05-03 19:03:33 UTC

I see okay.

2020-05-03 19:07:06 UTC

Fuck it just go old school and get a revolver with a leather belt with slots to hold my rounds.

2020-05-03 19:07:20 UTC

Better call me country ghost

2020-05-03 19:16:00 UTC

Picking is fun, but about the last thing you'll want to try when getting through a door. A mini slim jim (or random garbage), hinge popper, and social engineering are all what I go to first.

2020-05-03 19:18:19 UTC

Also that's a fantastic video

2020-05-03 19:18:28 UTC

@COGhost why do you want a 1911 lol

2020-05-03 19:21:21 UTC

Cuz why not? They handle good. When I shot my grandfather's I fell in love. Plus I'm a history dude. Why not own a gun from ww1 and ww2.

2020-05-03 19:21:43 UTC

My next rifle I want to buy is a M1 Garand.

2020-05-03 19:21:55 UTC

Because there are WAY better options 😂😂

2020-05-03 19:22:24 UTC

Maybe there is but I just love them. I'm not going to use it as a every day carry or anything

2020-05-03 19:22:28 UTC

Just to have.

2020-05-03 19:23:27 UTC

I mean. I don’t care if you get one. I was just sayin lol. I’ll never sell my Browning

2020-05-03 19:23:46 UTC

If you want something that shoots like that but is useful, go for a 2011 in 9mm

2020-05-03 19:24:56 UTC

That's what they are called. I've seen them but didn't know what they are called.

2020-05-03 19:25:43 UTC

What's the name of this?

2020-05-03 19:26:19 UTC

Hudson H9 is the perfected 1911 (IN MY OPINION!)

2020-05-03 19:27:30 UTC

Except for reliability problems from a company that no longer exists and can't honor warranties or even make replacement parts. They shoot awesome, I love them. But they have an expiration date and it isn't very long.

2020-05-03 19:28:03 UTC

You need better friends lol

2020-05-03 19:28:04 UTC

@COGhost no idea. Is that a .22 win mag?

2020-05-03 19:28:41 UTC

No clue saw it on Instagram and liked the dark black and the red.

2020-05-03 19:28:54 UTC

Lol

2020-05-03 19:37:56 UTC

Seems kinda odd. A lot of the higher end companies don't like selling receivers

2020-05-03 19:39:47 UTC

@Artemis talking handgun receivers?

2020-05-03 19:39:54 UTC

rifles

2020-05-03 19:43:39 UTC

while kicking around ideas, I'm also considering a 308 build as I've already got a 16" ar and building an 18" sorta feels like it would be inferior to 308 for my purpose at that point

2020-05-03 19:44:45 UTC

I got my 80% lowers from Tactical Machining.

2020-05-03 19:49:39 UTC

Lol @American_AF the Hudson would be the best G1911 ever, if they worked 😉

2020-05-03 19:50:45 UTC

They Hudson we had when I worked at the range was great, right up until it broke its extractor, which is a common problem. Its been in a box on a shelf for a year because parts aren't available

2020-05-03 19:51:14 UTC

@COGhost are you looking for firearms as a tool, or guns that look cool?

2020-05-03 19:52:13 UTC

As a tool

2020-05-03 19:52:21 UTC

@Ballsdini I really wish they had worked out. KE Arms still has *thousands* of slides, parts, etc. and the TDP is very real, so maybe one day it will be revived

2020-05-03 19:53:10 UTC

Want one as a main tool but have like a side one just for fun and to look cool. And mess around with. U know?

2020-05-03 19:53:34 UTC

Sure man, nothing wrong with that

2020-05-03 19:53:57 UTC

Mine hasn’t had a flaw since it’s had some love. They can be a bitch at times but if you put a little love in them (the love they didn’t put in them at the factory) they run fantastic.
