Because most meds useful for me to have are not OTC.
I'd say a medkit should be first priority. It's much more likely you'll need one over a pc. The only real use for a pc I see today is if you're overtly protesting something. Otherwise it's an end of the world prep item
I already have medical supplies.
I have a decent start.
Just wanting a dedicated pack so I can have it all organized and have room for stuff.
Pro strat
Be at protest
Slap giant red cross on bag
Be less likely to be shot at by police
Lol more likely. They love executing EMTs
I guess even i have too much faith in American police
You do, sir.
New strat
Stand perfectly still. They're more likely to hit innocent bystanders than you
Be in a van on the interstate. They will shoot all the other cars.
So I'm looking around at large frame receiver sets and I think I've fallen in love with something
fuuuuuuck bolt catch roll pins
Lucky bastard
Aero precision M5 receiver. It kinda seems like aero is what everyone uses for ar10 builds. It's just about the only serviceable option you can get as stripped receivers
My 556 DMR will be an Aero upper and lower. Bcm BCG and a Faxon or Ballistic Advantage barrel.
Sounds solid. Love faxon's 556 barrels
@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ Random thought because it’s still low end gear (but better than condor) but have you looked at pantac or flyye? I had a chest rig from them in my airsoft days and it was actually pretty decent quality
Obviously you can run anything for a med pack but If you aren’t going for the standard issue look something like osprey or a backpacking style pack might be in your best interest
If I go through with this, I think I'll likely be going with a matched aero precision receiver set and a CLE barrel. Took a look at some testing between the criterion and krieger barrels, and apparently they both shot the same groupings
granted that was with a different caliber
so naturally I'd be going with the cheaper criterion

@The_Black_Knight
I’m looking into a STOMP style medical pack.
Fair, a good med pack is a lot more important, actually being able to find shit
Just wasn’t sure if you had looked at those brands for gear
Not osprey, the other two
@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ I use inserts like this to keep my gear organized regardless of what bag it goes in
I’m needing more of a pouch kinda thing
That I can label
“Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation”
@Artemis what company makes threaded bolt catch holes, that’s awesome
Aero precision's large frame receivers
I mean I can clearly see every medical item, so that achieves the same purpose
Granted that’s a CLS equivalent package, not a med bag
@Ballsdini The marco is a cool system but isn’t a replacement for full sizes chems. It’s a replacement for running 25 mini chems paracorded together dangling of your belt line, different purposes
I’m going to be running a lot more than CLS. I’m going to have IVs, laryngoscopes and I-Gels, all of that.
Anyone in here happen to have or have shot a FN 503?
Send pic I’ve shot some FNs before.
@American_AF I shot the first 509 that ATEI did, it was great
