Meds are the hard part.

2020-05-03 23:21:39 UTC

Because most meds useful for me to have are not OTC.

2020-05-03 23:25:01 UTC

I'd say a medkit should be first priority. It's much more likely you'll need one over a pc. The only real use for a pc I see today is if you're overtly protesting something. Otherwise it's an end of the world prep item

2020-05-03 23:27:51 UTC

I already have medical supplies.

2020-05-03 23:27:56 UTC

I have a decent start.

2020-05-03 23:28:23 UTC

Just wanting a dedicated pack so I can have it all organized and have room for stuff.

2020-05-03 23:31:00 UTC

Pro strat
Be at protest
Slap giant red cross on bag
Be less likely to be shot at by police

2020-05-03 23:31:24 UTC

Lol more likely. They love executing EMTs

2020-05-03 23:32:21 UTC

I guess even i have too much faith in American police

2020-05-03 23:32:32 UTC

You do, sir.

2020-05-03 23:33:29 UTC

New strat
Stand perfectly still. They're more likely to hit innocent bystanders than you

2020-05-03 23:33:52 UTC

Be in a van on the interstate. They will shoot all the other cars.

2020-05-03 23:41:07 UTC

So I'm looking around at large frame receiver sets and I think I've fallen in love with something

2020-05-03 23:41:16 UTC

fuuuuuuck bolt catch roll pins

2020-05-03 23:42:06 UTC

Lucky bastard

2020-05-03 23:47:53 UTC

Aero precision M5 receiver. It kinda seems like aero is what everyone uses for ar10 builds. It's just about the only serviceable option you can get as stripped receivers

2020-05-03 23:56:35 UTC

My 556 DMR will be an Aero upper and lower. Bcm BCG and a Faxon or Ballistic Advantage barrel.

2020-05-03 23:56:59 UTC

Sounds solid. Love faxon's 556 barrels

2020-05-04 00:01:15 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ Random thought because it’s still low end gear (but better than condor) but have you looked at pantac or flyye? I had a chest rig from them in my airsoft days and it was actually pretty decent quality

2020-05-04 00:03:02 UTC

Obviously you can run anything for a med pack but If you aren’t going for the standard issue look something like osprey or a backpacking style pack might be in your best interest

2020-05-04 00:14:26 UTC

If I go through with this, I think I'll likely be going with a matched aero precision receiver set and a CLE barrel. Took a look at some testing between the criterion and krieger barrels, and apparently they both shot the same groupings

2020-05-04 00:15:02 UTC

granted that was with a different caliber

2020-05-04 00:16:25 UTC

so naturally I'd be going with the cheaper criterion

2020-05-04 00:18:16 UTC

@The_Black_Knight

I’m looking into a STOMP style medical pack.

2020-05-04 00:21:03 UTC

Fair, a good med pack is a lot more important, actually being able to find shit

2020-05-04 00:21:21 UTC

Just wasn’t sure if you had looked at those brands for gear

2020-05-04 00:21:28 UTC

Not osprey, the other two

2020-05-04 00:36:30 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ I use inserts like this to keep my gear organized regardless of what bag it goes in

2020-05-04 00:36:58 UTC

I’m needing more of a pouch kinda thing

2020-05-04 00:37:13 UTC

That I can label

2020-05-04 00:37:31 UTC

“Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation”

2020-05-04 00:37:59 UTC

@Artemis what company makes threaded bolt catch holes, that’s awesome

2020-05-04 00:38:12 UTC

Aero precision's large frame receivers

2020-05-04 00:38:47 UTC

I mean I can clearly see every medical item, so that achieves the same purpose

2020-05-04 00:39:12 UTC

Granted that’s a CLS equivalent package, not a med bag

2020-05-04 00:42:19 UTC

@Ballsdini The marco is a cool system but isn’t a replacement for full sizes chems. It’s a replacement for running 25 mini chems paracorded together dangling of your belt line, different purposes

2020-05-04 00:44:33 UTC

I’m going to be running a lot more than CLS. I’m going to have IVs, laryngoscopes and I-Gels, all of that.

2020-05-04 00:45:24 UTC

Anyone in here happen to have or have shot a FN 503?

2020-05-04 00:45:41 UTC

Send pic I’ve shot some FNs before.
