So basically I know what I’m gonna do. Get the PC, get the Microfight, and then set both up to my liking.

2020-05-13 18:36:50 UTC

Once my PC is entirely done, move to belt.

2020-05-13 18:37:15 UTC

Yea that’s what I got. The rampage.

2020-05-13 18:37:22 UTC

I like it

2020-05-13 18:37:34 UTC

Are there any low profile plate carriers to wear under a hoodie?

2020-05-13 18:37:48 UTC

They advertise the rampage as a low profile

2020-05-13 18:37:58 UTC

But I don’t think it is

2020-05-13 18:38:10 UTC

I took a picture yesterday one second

2020-05-13 18:38:25 UTC

Oh ok I was about to look it up

2020-05-13 18:38:55 UTC

Not bad I suppose. You'll be obvious in a shirt, but it might work under a sweatshirt

2020-05-13 18:39:36 UTC

Yea prob will be obvious in a sweatshirt. They make other ones though.

Luckily we bundle up in winter here, easy to conceal then. Summer doesn't seem doable.

2020-05-13 18:42:19 UTC

Yeaa probs not. Maybe some 3a soft armor

2020-05-13 18:42:36 UTC

Level IV plates are kinda thick

2020-05-13 18:42:50 UTC

I like the low profile stuff, and a lot of minimalist things. As someone who needs to rotate and move (medical boy), low profile and easy to maneuver in is amazing.

2020-05-13 18:42:54 UTC

I'd hate to wear soft armor in the summer where I'm at

2020-05-13 18:43:14 UTC

Layered kevlar is such a good insulator that they use it for stuff like industrial oven mitts

2020-05-13 18:43:59 UTC

Damn really?

2020-05-13 18:44:45 UTC

I did glassblowing for several years and we'd use kevlar sleeves when working with particularly large pieces

2020-05-13 18:46:04 UTC

Guns take priority over plate carriers I would assume. Right?

2020-05-13 18:46:21 UTC

If you wanted to wear any armor in the summer, I'd say you'd probably want lighter weight ceramic armor with something like an armorvent slapped on your pc.
Also yeah pc's are near the bottom of the list on priority

2020-05-13 18:48:03 UTC

Near the bottom? I thought maybe right behind guns, ammo and training would be a good PC.

2020-05-13 18:49:43 UTC

Carry pistol with a quality concealed kydex holster, ammo and training, medical stuff, a rifle, other general survival things like food and bleach for purifying water, maybe a chest rig for higher level training, then after all of that and probably some other stuff, armor

2020-05-13 18:55:06 UTC

When determining what equipment you need, you've gotta figure out what the most likely scenarios are. Before all of that, you should really have a fire extinguisher in your house, since in the end it sorta serves the same purpose as any other equipment, keeping you alive and your property protected.

2020-05-13 18:56:57 UTC

I guess I forgot that not everyone stockpiles food and supplies lol

2020-05-13 18:57:41 UTC

I have a decent amount, could use more though. I think about 2-3 months worth

2020-05-13 18:58:22 UTC

maybe longer, it's nutritious but disgusting, so it's only really palatable if I'm really hungry

2020-05-13 19:00:16 UTC

I have enough rice and beans to survive on for a few months. I will absolutely hate rice after, but I'll live if necessary.

2020-05-13 19:01:17 UTC

Oh I forgot about my rice lol. Yeah it'd last a good long while

2020-05-13 19:02:35 UTC

Most of my stock is soylent since it's basically carbs, protein, and vitamins. It tastes like cheerios and protein powder thrown in a blender though

2020-05-13 19:02:47 UTC

I bought a two year supply of toilet paper back in December cause I had a good deal. Who knew it would become the new gold standard? 😂

2020-05-13 19:06:21 UTC

I have 15 horse 25 chicken. Fruit and vegetables. Growing And getting two beef cattle that should of already been here. I’m set on food

2020-05-13 19:07:25 UTC

Unfortunately I was bitten by a tick that makes me allergic to all mammal meat except for the great apes. So it's pretty much chicken and fish, or cannibalism to get meat lol

2020-05-13 19:07:47 UTC

Seriously?

2020-05-13 19:08:03 UTC

Yeah. Before anyone asks, no it's not lyme disease, completely different thing

2020-05-13 19:08:20 UTC

Great apes?

2020-05-13 19:08:21 UTC

What concealable low-pro carriers would you guys recommend? Or what have you heard, is good?

2020-05-13 19:08:46 UTC

Shit I figured you know that one sparrow
