Mk23 next to a g21c, and a g21 next to a g19

It's so big that people look at you at the range and go, holy fuck that's a big pistol

2020-05-26 16:37:33 UTC

(No idea who that is, pulled the pic off of Google)

2020-05-26 16:52:25 UTC

Shit. May as well just holster a damn AR9 at that point lol

2020-05-26 17:54:50 UTC

That is a massive pistol

2020-05-26 18:09:42 UTC

@Artemis so if a g21 is almost too big for my hands, i assume a mk23 is going to definitely be too big?

2020-05-26 18:10:09 UTC

The mk23 will make the g21 look like a toy

2020-05-26 18:10:58 UTC

It's comically oversized. I'd suggest a usp instead, it was the replacement for the mk23

2020-05-26 18:11:52 UTC

9mm USP expert is the only HK pistol that I would buy

2020-05-26 18:14:05 UTC

They make plenty of great pistols. Their qc and over engineered construction blows most brands out of the water, though the designs are dated

2020-05-26 18:14:14 UTC

>tfw no USP

2020-05-26 18:15:32 UTC

Be careful though, it'll spoil you. Glocks feel like cheap garbage in comparison to most h&k pistols

2020-05-26 18:16:33 UTC

Meh.
I've only owned 2 pistols to date anyway.
A fuckoff huge .44 mag Redhawk, which was a shitty choice for a first pistol, and a 92FS

2020-05-26 18:18:15 UTC

The price is high though. There's no reason to get that kind of quality unless you really want it. Normal striker fired pistols are fine, and much better for concealed carry

2020-05-26 18:19:27 UTC

Can't CCW anyway.
It's more of just something I want.
I don't have a pistol at the moment anyway, so might as well buy one that I want

2020-05-26 18:22:15 UTC

USP's are nice. The trigger is fantastic and it's over engineered to the point where it's hard to kill it. I've only ever fired the usp 45 so I don't know what the 9 is like. More recoil than 9 but it's more of a gentle shove compared to a fast punch. Given ballistics and ammo cost, 9 is what I'd recommend unless you're looking to suppress it.

2020-05-26 18:29:02 UTC

Nah. Can't suppress it either.
I've been told both the 9mm and .40 versions are nice shooters

2020-05-26 18:31:13 UTC

The trigger is fantastic

HK fanboi here, usp 45 was a brilliant gun to put rounds through... have a vp9 now and i adore it

2020-05-26 18:50:36 UTC

The poors are at it again.

2020-05-26 18:54:03 UTC

i just want a USP match

2020-05-26 19:20:09 UTC

Bruh what is that evike . com looking scope XD

2020-05-26 19:30:19 UTC

I think it's Pinty, a cheap chinese brand.

2020-05-26 19:46:42 UTC

I don’t even know why people still buy that shit

2020-05-26 19:46:54 UTC

With some of the prices of some half decent budget optics these days

2020-05-26 20:16:11 UTC

$70 is sketchy even for a red dot but for that thing just wow

2020-05-26 20:46:29 UTC

I actually like this

2020-05-26 21:00:49 UTC

That's actually not bad. Looks like bubba took a woodworking class

2020-05-26 21:47:48 UTC

I mean, if 7.62×39 wasn't a rock past 500 it would be awesome

2020-05-26 22:04:33 UTC

7.62x39 would be awesome if it was a good round

2020-05-26 22:39:42 UTC

You can get okay Red dots for 70 bucks actually.

2020-05-26 22:40:16 UTC

TRS-25 and RDS-25 hold zero, and they're sub 100 dollar red dots. And I've even seen them take a beating.

2020-05-26 22:40:43 UTC

Granted, I wouldn't put the same trust in them as I would an aimpoint. But if they are range guns, or extras, why not?

2020-05-26 22:41:54 UTC

Hahaha, 7.62 is the poor man's 300 blackout.

2020-05-26 22:48:58 UTC

I own a few TRS-25s and they do the job to a point, not going to knock them too bad but I fully believe they're the exception rather than the rule with sub $100 red dots

2020-05-26 22:50:14 UTC

That's fair. I would say that TRS-25's and AT3 RD-50s are good value at a lower price. I wouldn't just go buy the first red dot off of amazon though

2020-05-26 22:51:30 UTC

jerst as gerd

2020-05-26 22:51:46 UTC

Haha, I will never buy another sight in that style ever again.

2020-05-26 22:51:52 UTC

Everything about them, sucks.
