2017-04-06 13:28:04 UTC

Hey I'm curious

2017-04-06 13:28:31 UTC

how did you guys get to where you are now, rejecting leftism etc.

2017-04-06 13:28:41 UTC

I'm curious about the anglos mostly

2017-04-06 13:29:17 UTC

can you look back into your past and find some particular inflection point from where there was a change

2017-04-06 13:29:31 UTC

or what's the first thing you remember that put a dent in your existing worldview

2017-04-06 13:29:42 UTC

or were you always full hitler

2017-04-06 13:30:30 UTC

well left/right is pretty divisive, not in a hippie kind of way

2017-04-06 13:30:38 UTC

but there are issues on both sides that are important

2017-04-06 13:30:48 UTC

tho id argue more conservative ideals have greater payoff

2017-04-06 13:30:53 UTC

for a lot of folks I bet it's entering the workforce, and seeing more than 30% of your property go to the govt

2017-04-06 13:31:01 UTC

and then examining where that money actually goes

2017-04-06 13:31:17 UTC

but I entered this sphere from more of a libertarian perspective

2017-04-06 13:32:31 UTC

most people on the left haven't actually read the left-wing playbooks. I know I hadn't

2017-04-06 13:33:07 UTC

read Alinsky, Marx, and all the other subverters and it all becomes very scary

2017-04-06 13:37:22 UTC

What made you go from libertarian to "alt right"?

2017-04-06 13:45:05 UTC

did i reject leftism

2017-04-06 13:50:52 UTC

I don't think I'm alt-right per se, although I have been called that haha

2017-04-06 13:50:52 UTC

2008 election cycle --> I was 14 or so. pre-FOX Glenn Beck ranting comparing the press coverage between Obama and McCain. First time I ever gave serious thought to the idea that the press might lie.

2012 or so --> Brief libertarian left period. Nothing too cringy. Probably watched too much leftist viewer-supported TV and listened to too much Johnny Hobo.

Early 2013 --> One random day I was wasting time browsing the Internet and decided to google "race crime statistics."
"Is that a real thing? My god, look at these numbers; it is." Then googled "race IQ statistics."
"Is *this* a real thing? My god, look at these numbers; it is." Somehow I got linked to relevant posts on CORRUPT and Amerika and then ANUS and nihil.org and read most of the articles.

2017-04-06 13:52:28 UTC

I'd say the reason I'm not a libertarian idealist and now a libertarian realist is....the fact that I'm a realist 😄

2017-04-06 13:52:47 UTC

2017-04-06 13:52:49 UTC

2017-04-06 14:01:54 UTC

2017-04-06 14:02:00 UTC

2017-04-06 14:02:05 UTC

THUS: CRUSH THE WEAK

2017-04-06 14:05:55 UTC

'realism' ---> promotes a worldview based around mythological art and traditional metaphysics. and let's not forget brubru

My inflection point (around 2000) was internalizing a sort of (what I found out later was) existential nihilism. I took everything as a subjective meaning at that point - mostly seeing politics and societal norms as a somebody else's meaning. Looking only at outcomes and ascribing own meaning (without rationalizing) I came to a point where I realized it's all bullshit, and the only reality was that likes belong with likes sharing the same reality (or interpretation) where commingling philosophies/ethical systems createing problems. Moral relativism disgusts me, and I see some of that in liberatarianism.

@fallot all this trump drama happens the day after cernovich's interview. Maybe it really had merit

2017-04-06 14:53:41 UTC

the Rice drama @devolved ?

2017-04-06 14:54:00 UTC

I'm definitely very wary of Cernovich, he ticks a lot of boxes
