it contains numerous other symbols

and only as such aer they traditionally comprehended, and the goal of all training is to perceive these higher truths, to receive "bliss", "enlightenment" call it whatever you will

this is no mandate

there is no heavenly reward or punishment for this

heavenly punishment and reward

are also

symbolic concepts, important for traditional teachings

and not to be understood in a literal sense

the belief that the path of being rejoined to the "center" let's call it, necessarily includes the survival of your phantom ego, a transitory, impermanent sensation, is folly
