Roman sense of unshakeable superiority was remarkable

I mean they persistently defeated Germans, first Marius, then Caesar then Germanicus

They won some battles but they were never able to conquer them

Yes but they enslaved many hundred thousands which was basically the same

Rome was then again, something special

It's the spirit of people confident in their superiority

Just reading on Caesars adventures in Britain clearly shows this
