Weakness is good.

There's nothing to overcome if you're not weak in some way.

And what's most valuable is what's earned.

I think you have to love your weaknesses or they fall out of your control.

If you try to push them out, you only make them crop up in more subtle and therefore less manageable ways

Weakness is to be loved, for giving you something to overcome.

Your weakness can exist for others.

It's their challenge.

Overcoming weakness doesn't really mean eliminating them but making yourself whole I guess. That whole chariot metaphor. You don't get rid of passions or desires you direct them.

And it's your challenge to be involved in their challenge in this way.

The problem is only in weakness being made strength, and strength being made weakness.

Adaption isn't improvement

A flying squirrel isn't an improvement over a grounded one

Each is adapted to circumstance/ecological niche

A flying squirrel is an improvement over a grounded one in an ecological niche rewarding flying.

But you're presuming that both occupy the same niche

And evolution isn't perfect.

Flying squirrel might have an advantage over grounded squirrel even in grounded squirrel's environment.

It's just that grounded squirrel has more of an advantage in his environment than his ancestors did.
