Google it, Eletrick. It explains a lot.

2019-03-31 19:21:02 UTC

Yeet that meat harder than Chris Brown

2019-03-31 19:21:13 UTC

Owo what's this

2019-03-31 19:21:24 UTC

Once you see what the Zetetic method is, a lot of things click

2019-03-31 19:21:29 UTC

As you see a simple refractive medium can give the illusion of something going down when in reality the light is being curved upwards so the angle of the light you see something near the horizon is not where the object is in reality

2019-03-31 19:21:33 UTC

#parallax 😃

2019-03-31 19:21:36 UTC

Is that a snake in your pants or are you just happy to see me owo

2019-03-31 19:21:48 UTC

gotta set up at work brb

2019-03-31 19:21:50 UTC

WHATTTT YOU CANT JUST CURVE LIGHT

2019-03-31 19:21:50 UTC

*Jesus.*

2019-03-31 19:21:51 UTC

Ok there scientist fuCKBOY

2019-03-31 19:22:15 UTC

I used my Japanese keyboard

2019-03-31 19:22:20 UTC

you need a massive amount of gravity to do that only blackholes can curve light

2019-03-31 19:22:39 UTC

because they have enough gravity to do so

2019-03-31 19:23:00 UTC

Blackholes = ASSHOLEs

2019-03-31 19:23:13 UTC

Cmon dude really

2019-03-31 19:23:15 UTC

They eat up everything

2019-03-31 19:23:19 UTC

yes Light curves up in air, normally warm air is below cold air is above and light will want to bend towards the colder air. So the angle that the laser shoots at and hte angle the laser is seen to hit changes dramatically even at medium range distances. I think this upward trending bending of the light is the cause of sun rises sun sets ships appearing to disappear over the horizon, why when you stand up you can see farther away, because the up curving arc of the light is intersecting a flat floor not because a straight beam has been occluded by a spherical earth.

2019-03-31 19:23:19 UTC

yeah they are

2019-03-31 19:23:39 UTC

On a subtle tangent, why is it that gravity, the weakest of the four forces, is the only force we have supposedly observed to bend light?

2019-03-31 19:23:49 UTC

I find that a bit interesting.

superhotminer#2654 (561701020707586048) is now muted for '**Unspecified.**', alright? <:THUMBSUP6:403560443345371137>

2019-03-31 19:23:50 UTC

thats not light curving thats bad camera work

2019-03-31 19:25:12 UTC

@eletrick33 Well unfortunately for you peer reviewed scientific evidence shows this to be the case even if you assume a spherical model

2019-03-31 19:25:16 UTC

its even super low res

2019-03-31 19:25:22 UTC

So on a flat floor the up curved light is more pronounced

2019-03-31 19:25:27 UTC

@eletrick33 electromagnetic field locking

2019-03-31 19:25:46 UTC

This means it is impossible under any normal weather conditions for light to curve down and around the ball to make a ball appear to be flat

That's not gravity doing that

the·o·ry
/ˈTHirē/
noun
a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.
"Darwin's theory of evolution"

2019-03-31 19:26:40 UTC

No it is ferromagnetism and superconductivity

2019-03-31 19:26:59 UTC

@eletrick33 exactly. Theory is an idea based on assumptions

2019-03-31 19:27:04 UTC

Cool the superconductor with liquid nitrogen and the magnet floats.

2019-03-31 19:27:42 UTC

Superconductors float not just because of the Meinssner Effect. They Float because of quantum locking. Very small weak points in a thin superconductor allow magnetic fields to penetrate, locking them in. These are called Flux Tubes.

@Udo yes.

2019-03-31 19:29:45 UTC

yes assumptions that but they also align with science like with string theory its not a law yet because it doesnt align perfectly with all the laws of physics yet if we had laws that werent correct we would be seriously screwed and would know next to nothing about our universe and how it functions
