Well I don't see curvature, I don't feel Earth motion, I know light curves up, so ships disappearing over the horizon may very well be caused by optical phenomenon

I'm saying the mother of all fuck ups was assuming light travels in a straight line, trying to use refraction to explain distant objects that can't be explained with straight line light with refraction is WRONG because light bends up away from the Earth not down towards the Earth
