Back in 'Nam, me and 4 lieutenants were in a foxhole, between a Viet Cong platoon and South Vietnam's capital. Next thing we know, the filthy commie rats are right next to us. A grenade landed in the middle, and Lieutenant Johnson, bless his soul, jumps on the grenade. I feel a leg whiz past my head and see a Commie rat catch it and take a bite out of it, saying, "Mm. I rove da taste of capitarist pig in da morning." We fired back, but my vision went black and when I woke up, I was in a prison in North Vietnam. We were liberated later, but I've never lost the picture of Lieutenant Johnson sacrificing himself.

[The helicopter lands at Mother Base] ”Things have changed, Boss. We pull in money, recruits, just to combat Cipher. Rubbing our noses in bloody battlefield dirt, all for revenge. The world calls for wetwork, and we answer. No greater good, no just cause. Cipher sent us to hell… But we’re going even deeper” [Snake talks] ”I know… I’m already a demon. Heaven’s not my kind of place anyway.” [Kaz resumes] ”Dogs of war, for nine whole years. That ends today. Now you’re not sleeping, and we’re not junkyard hounds...
