2017-03-06 03:13:32 UTC

yeah deer is really good too nutritionaly wise

2017-03-06 03:13:48 UTC

but the taste is a bit more peculiar

2017-03-06 03:14:33 UTC

game meat tastes is a bit different

2017-03-06 03:14:48 UTC

Not a problem for ol roo.

2017-03-06 03:14:49 UTC

I like deer meat a lot more than beef. Possibly my favorite meat-product.

2017-03-06 03:15:07 UTC

horse is between that

2017-03-06 03:15:23 UTC

not too strong taste, really tender meat

2017-03-06 03:17:21 UTC

This is just making me want horse meat more.

2017-03-06 03:17:36 UTC

Horse and kangaroo meat.

2017-03-06 03:17:50 UTC

THAT'S YOUR OWN KIND.

2017-03-06 03:17:59 UTC

YOU CAN'T EAT YOUR OWN KIND

2017-03-06 03:18:05 UTC

I tried kangaroo

2017-03-06 03:18:18 UTC

Well, good news is that it looks like it's legal in the US.

2017-03-06 03:18:26 UTC

it has a peculiar taste too

2017-03-06 03:18:36 UTC

kinda exotic for meat

2017-03-06 03:18:41 UTC

but it's not too bad

2017-03-06 03:19:09 UTC

Tough?

2017-03-06 03:19:24 UTC

depends of how you cook it

2017-03-06 03:19:41 UTC

Also a side note for @Null when he comes on:

"Kangatarianism is a recent practice of following a diet which excludes meat except kangaroo on environmental and ethical grounds."

2017-03-06 03:20:00 UTC

I used a meat tenderizer and I marinated the meat so I wouldn't really know

2017-03-06 03:21:46 UTC

That sounds like it'd be a good way to go about it.

They have that stereotype of being freakishly muscular, so I imagine the meat would be more tough. Yet, at the same time there is also a lot of images of fatty looking kangaroos.

2017-03-06 03:24:22 UTC

This image here of kangaroo meat makes it look fairly dark.

"Not as much flash" seems to be an accurate description.

2017-03-06 03:26:53 UTC

That said, look at the mighty fine definition in that horse meat. @nrg

2017-03-06 03:27:22 UTC

Looks like jerky

2017-03-06 03:27:29 UTC

o_O

2017-03-06 03:27:51 UTC

Here in america we care more alot about the aesthetics of meat

2017-03-06 03:28:21 UTC

that's horse meat too

2017-03-06 03:30:37 UTC

That one has a more tender look. Even more so is the amount of drool that my mouth is producing while imagining its taste.

2017-03-06 03:30:59 UTC

hehe

2017-03-06 03:31:03 UTC

I'm pretty sure I've had that before

2017-03-06 03:31:44 UTC

well, roasted veal can look pretty similar, especially when smoked

2017-03-06 03:31:46 UTC

erm perhaps not
