halfways?
Boris is gay
Boris is britains hope
Did not age well
Parliament does not, will not, and has never represented the people
I mean
Itβs certainly a better representation than a poll in 2016
Why wouldnβt parliament represent the people?
@!GoldenKingship! Hes kicking people from the party who disagree with him
@TheBritishGamer β€π (Meh) It did till brexit
@Platinum Spark Because Parliament is made up of a bunch of arrogant middle to upper class twats
@Luger Ehhh, Iraq War
Fair enough
Which btw, had more protests than the people who protest against Brexit
That was the US fault
Bush
Doesn't mean Blair had to bend over
oof
Which also reminds me, Blair basically opened up the floodgates to all the Eastern European Immigrants
He claimed only "100,000" Eastern Europeans would enter in a year
Parliament put it through anyways
Not to mention Osbourne screwing over the lower classes of the society
Or Lib Dems doing a 180 on their voters, deciding to vote for austerity AND higher Uni fees (which they promised to lower)
jesus ur still going π
The list on Parliament going against the people is endless
Parliament is elected by the people
Not really. FPTP fucks up seat numbers
The Brexit thing is taking a heck load of time it seems
Scottish independence aswell
The UK is getting quite interesting
In 2015, Tories won 36% of the vote and got 51% of seats. In 2017, they got 42% of votes and yet got 49% of the seats @Platinum Spark
UKIP got 12% of the vote in 2015 and got one seat
SNP get less votes than Lib Dems yet more seats
i dont like british politics its turning bad
and sour
@Luger The reason for this is that while over half of Britain voted to leave the EU, two thirds of Ministers of Parliament voted to stay
facts
This is made worse if you use the argument that they "have to represent their constituency"
Because 62% of constituencies voted leave
end of the day it could be worse
