The flat earth model is a perfectly reasonable map projection of a globe, so it’s not particularly useful for proving OR disproving either, since it fits into both models

That being said there are all sorts of other experiments you can do to show the earth is round

Gyroscopic drift is one, you can tell with binoculars on a coast watching ships very easily

You can sight distance with a light and equal slats in a solid material

Or get more precise laser equipment that you can just buy on amazon

No, a satellite would be on the other side of the sky, out in space

So a satellite can’t make the projection, it would have to be something on earth

So you’d need some object on earth, that is way way brighter than the sun
