Did not age well

Parliament does not, will not, and has never represented the people

2019-09-04 15:22:28 UTC

I mean

2019-09-04 15:22:43 UTC

It’s certainly a better representation than a poll in 2016

2019-09-04 15:23:08 UTC

Why wouldn’t parliament represent the people?

2019-09-04 17:33:33 UTC

@!GoldenKingship! Hes kicking people from the party who disagree with him

2019-09-04 17:33:56 UTC

@Platinum Spark Because Parliament is made up of a bunch of arrogant middle to upper class twats

@Luger Ehhh, Iraq War

2019-09-04 17:41:52 UTC

Fair enough

Which btw, had more protests than the people who protest against Brexit

2019-09-04 17:42:00 UTC

That was the US fault

2019-09-04 17:42:02 UTC

Bush

Doesn't mean Blair had to bend over

2019-09-04 17:42:32 UTC

oof

Which also reminds me, Blair basically opened up the floodgates to all the Eastern European Immigrants

He claimed only "100,000" Eastern Europeans would enter in a year

Which was obviously bullshit

Parliament put it through anyways

Not to mention Osbourne screwing over the lower classes of the society

Or Lib Dems doing a 180 on their voters, deciding to vote for austerity AND higher Uni fees (which they promised to lower)

2019-09-04 17:45:30 UTC

jesus ur still going πŸ˜‚

The list on Parliament going against the people is endless

2019-09-04 17:46:10 UTC

Parliament is elected by the people

Not really. FPTP fucks up seat numbers

2019-09-04 17:47:07 UTC

The Brexit thing is taking a heck load of time it seems

2019-09-04 17:47:23 UTC

Scottish independence aswell

2019-09-04 17:47:33 UTC

The UK is getting quite interesting

In 2015, Tories won 36% of the vote and got 51% of seats. In 2017, they got 42% of votes and yet got 49% of the seats @Platinum Spark

UKIP got 12% of the vote in 2015 and got one seat

SNP get less votes than Lib Dems yet more seats

2019-09-04 17:48:53 UTC

i dont like british politics its turning bad

2019-09-04 17:48:55 UTC
