Then, after seeing that chaos ensues every day, they’ll just pick a couple of guys that represent their ideals fairly accurate enough to go toe to toe alongside each other in a campaign of sorts to see who will win a popular vote. Then that guy elected hasa team of people that also regulate states of the nation alongside him as the last deciding factor, more or less. And then... oh wait. Nvm

You can generally do only one or the other, on an individual level. So go ahead and create new, special things; inventions, designs, business plans, a wonderful book, for a few examples.... Or, spend your time exposing the deceit and corruption and **HYPOCRISY** around you, but it will keep you from ***building anything better*** yourself.
The politics of my country are filled with people of both types and they seem to hate each other. Conservatives are usually more concerned with the physical exigencies of life, such as gold, silver, property, currency, etc. The stuff they value is generally tangible. The Liberals are more focused on the interpersonal relationships in their lives and making a positive change to the world. So which of them is doing it all wrong?

These two personality types (Builders and Healers, perhaps) are important to ANY successful Republic or Democracy. There are other types, like Maintainers, but they are either a subset of these two or wholly dependent on them.
Without the Liberals/Healers (and the personality types involved), the wage gap between the rich and the poor widens, poor people tend to stay poor, while rich people are exclusionary and the result is the average person suffers. Black markets thrive as evil people in high places take advantage of those less fortunate than them. Perhaps the richest would create walled off neighborhoods with private security forces to keep the poor out... It would be ugly.
Without the Conservatives/Builders, the monetary systems of the world would collapse, along with the infrastructure of industry. New cars would no longer be produced and groceries would quickly be replaced with Farmer's Markets, which can subsist with less infrastructure. Many would lose track of how much money they owed. They might lose power in the middle of something important and realize no one was keeping the power station running. They would delegate and elect groups to solve each issue, but no amount of sub-committees would be enough to affect any meaningful change. If it did not, it would likely be due to conservative personalities inside families of the other type who would save it.
The two-party system was not always this homogenized or polarized. Will we have to kill each other on the battlefield before we come together again? Only time will tell. But ***you*** are responsible for the result, just as I am. So let's try to fix this by working together with our opposite numbers.
