I should mention now what being a nationalist is, beyond the common misuse of the term. Nation is derived from the word natal. A nation is the blood. A nationalist cares about the condition of his immediate and extended blood family.

Civic nationalism is contradictory within the name itself. Racial strangers cannot be a nation because they agree on a concept.

It is materialistic and always centered on your wants without taking in to account the irreparable harms that can come from the ideals of globalism. In that video he dismisses the English blood because what is more immediate to his needs are his materialistic needs, which is understandable, but he inserts this internationalism without thinking for a second of any alternatives to the situation that wont ignore biological realities.
As an aside, consensus can get convoluted and should not be taken as the one word, regardless of the topic at hand. Thinkers throughout history have been persecuted though out history because they contradicted the prevailing concensus. There are factors at play which can influence any consensus.

Before I spam studies, when I find my secret racist folders, I must reject the the assumed idea that the rejection of materialistic internationalism is predicated on whether or not biological race exists. While I'm waiting, I fixed the problem I think, it's important to talk about the studies I use. They will never say within them that "race is real" and are easily definable in every scenario. These individually look in to racial metrics and provide insight therein. I'm not denying any nuance from either side of this debate by spamming these.
Cognitive ability is heritable. Regression towards the mean will highlight racial trends regardless. This is showing that the brain is subject to differences at minimum, therefore no blank slates.

This is occuring in the West
There's a major contradiction in relatively common lines of thinking in the West. The idea of Westerners having a greater carbon footprint than the rest of the world, therefore it's good we produce less children to save nature, yet in the same circles you find these people talking about bringing in millions of migrants, refugees and border crossers and allowing them to live Western standards of living.
Why go through that process, when you could just stabilize the current population to a healthy level?
