Another idea is that climate change has already happened

2019-09-26 00:36:01 UTC

they just get fox news host to get on camera and say "everyone knows climate change is a chinese made conspiracy"

2019-09-26 00:36:26 UTC

Like we most likely had an ice age and also the earth used to be hot volcanic rocks

2019-09-26 00:37:00 UTC

So its only brainlets that dont believe in climate change

2019-09-26 00:37:23 UTC

The real question is human induced climate change

2019-09-26 00:39:07 UTC

Because climate change is already happening, its just how much are humans contributing green house gas to the environment

2019-09-26 00:39:45 UTC

And does it warrant a global crisis or such

2019-09-26 00:40:11 UTC

Wait a minute. So the youuuur telling me, that the only argument against climate change, is to discredit the scientists?

2019-09-26 00:40:43 UTC

They also have a fundemental difficulty in understanding scope and scale. Like, the Earth seems BIG, and a human is SMALL. How can human effect Earth?

2019-09-26 00:40:45 UTC

Certainly. @3v6en8 that it absolutely true.

2019-09-26 00:40:54 UTC

The earth changes naturally and I get that.

2019-09-26 00:41:25 UTC

But my problem is that if we fuck up the Ozone, or actually fuck up something that we can't fix and *accelerate* the end of Humanity. Why would we allow that shit?

2019-09-26 00:41:52 UTC

Because its hard for humans to understand abstract things

2019-09-26 00:41:52 UTC

GG @3v6en8, you just advanced to level 7!

2019-09-26 00:41:55 UTC

Would you rather go extinct thousands of years from now or just a few decades from now. Or potentially within a few lifetimes depending on the evidence and predictions I have not looked.

2019-09-26 00:43:45 UTC

Also, attacking someone who makes an argument is called ad hominem. You ignore what they say and attack them to discredit them. It is very effective, but it is a logical fallacy. So if the only wide arguments against human contribution to climate change is towards the scientists that do it... I'm sorry but that is just incredibly sad.

2019-09-26 00:45:03 UTC

Welp, contemporary news like to portray politics like a reality show

2019-09-26 00:45:35 UTC

Which fkn sucks lmfao. Why do we make that shit a joke.

2019-09-26 00:45:40 UTC

That is what the Kardashians are for.

2019-09-26 00:57:58 UTC

and we have companies that pollute for money and make laws that protect them and they are the ones that pay the politicians bills

2019-09-26 01:00:16 UTC

if alex jones was right about 1 thing its there was a company that dumped chemicals in a swamp, and it made the frogs gay

2019-09-26 01:16:21 UTC

So your solution is 0 carbon emissions?

2019-09-26 01:16:35 UTC

That will never be possible lol

2019-09-26 01:17:16 UTC

How is that due to climate change?

2019-09-26 01:18:13 UTC

The only main reason that could occur is a result of subsidence. Its like sea livels rising but for the ground when you have that much weight piled on your going to have an avalanch occur over time.

2019-09-26 01:18:26 UTC

because the climate is changing and thus changing the environment

2019-09-26 01:18:34 UTC

Stop concluding every natural disaster on climate change.

2019-09-26 01:18:44 UTC

im not doing it

2019-09-26 01:18:49 UTC

the facts are

2019-09-26 01:19:00 UTC

Yes nice for stating the obvious but your stating that term to essentially say we need to take action.

2019-09-26 01:19:03 UTC

Nobody is jumping to conclusions.

2019-09-26 01:19:10 UTC

you just brush it off without looking at evidence?

2019-09-26 01:19:14 UTC

^

2019-09-26 01:19:18 UTC

Its like we have to have war on the planet to stop climate change but thats not how it works dude

2019-09-26 01:19:40 UTC

We can't stop climate change. We can stop acceleration of climate change.

2019-09-26 01:19:45 UTC

yes

2019-09-26 01:19:53 UTC

Why is india china and other polluting places full of smog but when you go to western countries its the other way around?

2019-09-26 01:20:09 UTC

You can't stop the climate from changing.
