We hardly know what should even be considered normal

Based on our observations, the climate is not effected by things like CO2 in the ways previously theorized though

Infact, we have good reason to believe that human activity only marginally effects atmospheric CO2 concentration

it's not even the main contributor

things like volcanos put more into the atmosphere than all of mankind

a lot of people say its CO2 because of graphs and stuff, but having 4 feet of snow, especially in the summer in the US, there has to be something that contributes to this

i agree with you on skepticism on CO2

we still have a primitive understanding of how weather even works

we're good at forecasting weather in the short run though

Not that good. We look at weather and try to guess what it will do based on how weather patterns have acted in the past.

But it is often unpredictable. We only predict part of what it does if anything.

hurricane dorian was a good example of this

because of how difficult it was to track down dorian's path

Computer simulations are actually pretty accurate at predicting the weather, considering how many variables there are.

They have state of the art supercomputers crunching numbers.

There isn't really some guy sitting there looking at pictures of clouds, guessing at what might happen next lol

So we all agree that the earth ending in 12 years is not something we should be worried about because no evidence backs up the argument.

I don't think anyone in the scientific community believes that the Earth will end in 12 years due to climate change

millions of people will die, be forced into poverty, and lose jobs due to climate change

there is nothing you can say or do about this, even if all of us, and i mean ALL of us, started to go green

Well the problem is it's debatable how much of the problems we have right now are being caused or exacerbated by climate change and to what extent

Like for example you could argue that global warming has already depleted some resources and created scarcities that will incite conflicts but you can't prove exactly how much better it would be without that
