I doubt it will but people can be hopeful. I think Communism is nearly impossible to implement though correctly, but probably isn't outright impossible. I understand the appeal of Communism and Marxism, but current culture of Capitalist countries will be tough to change to fit a good Communist society. There is huge problems with it implementation wise, so I don't know if it would be worth it in the end.
Have you ever read Marxist theory regarding achieving Communist society?
Mao in particular dealt with the necessity of the transformation of capitlaist culture during the socialist stage, and how one goes about that cultural transformation by utilizing tools like the Mass Line, and processes like Cultural Revolution. @Baratel

@Baratel The concept of a New Soviet/Socialist Man is something which lots of theorist played with, probably most popularly Che Guevara, but I don’t think Mao ever talks about it by name. That entire concept has more to do with philosophy than concrete changes to the superstructure of society like during Cultural Revolution
Cultural Revolution and Mass Line are general strategies which you utilize on the entire population of the masses. It works regardless of the political or philosophical development present in a particular individual.
