Because Greta Thurnburg functions both as a mouthpiece and a shield for the same hyper-alarmist rhetoric we've been hearing for years, while also mixing social justice-like tid bits such as climate change being the fault of "colonialism", "racism", and "patriarchal systems". This actually does fuck all to address the problems with pollution and human environmental and how to fix them because this is completely nonsensical and unrelated, and only makes people more turned off from listening to this because it is obviously meant to be inflammatory rather than constructive. And any useful information she *does* provide is surface level stuff that most people already know about (like clean energy, regulations, all that shit). All the while not at all touching on the potential of nuclear power, which is probably the cleanest source of power we have and is the obvious next step when dealing with pollution and power output. But of course we can't ever do this, it's demonized because "ooga booga nucular go boom."
