Well, polling certainly disagrees
But Biden is unlikely to be the nominee
I am more comfortable with Biden then Bernie or Trump
but Andrew Yang is my first choice3
When your margins are .3%, you have trouble. Especially when favorability is so low
Clinton was an historically low favorability candidate, as was trump. None of the premier democrats have that same problem
I like how there is actually a choice among the candidates, they arent all talking a same game
I wonder how Yang can be your first choice, but you prefer Biden over Bernie... <:insane:583662104821760022>
Its gonna come down to either Biden or Bernie, they are the big players, but I genuinely believe that Yang is what this country needs, he has done more to reach across the aisle as opposed to preach to the choir like the rest of the candidates
besides, I get taxed out the ass in my state, and they expect me to pay into these entitlement programs that wont work, I'd to think the UBI Yang is pushing for is my thank you gift every month for all the taxes I pay
It can easily not be Bernie or Biden
There are actually pretty compelling analyses of why neither of them have great shots
Trump has 2020 the dems have no platform the just kicked Biden as side cause he wa losing votes Biden had the lead against trump so they Biden slow down the dems won't win but Trump needs to up his game he's getting into some very sticky situations
Well, odd claim about platforms
But even looking just at the generic ballot, democrats are about 6 points ahead
Which aligns with what we’ve seen from state special elections
That was a very good indicator of how the vote would turn out in 2018
Trump has proven time and again to be inefficient with his job the only thing I can credit him for was pulling that invasion of Iran at the last minute
When Dems has about a 10 point lead in the generic ballot
But if that doesn’t tighten before 2020, trump absolutely cannot win re-election
*have
he's gonna have to step up his game
GG @LetThereBeMike, you just advanced to level 3!
and he's gonna have to come up with some actual plans
Neutral question for the room- Trump touted his negotiation ability, what do trump supporters feel he has negotiated well in his presidency?
Increased support for Israel
@Platinum Spark Nk US relations and the ability to speak with Kim
Which Obama hasn't done
Russia
Hmm
Being chummy with a ruthless dictator doesn't seem to be a good move
What about those relationships do you consider to be successful negotiations?
Nor is antagonizing one with shit like "rocket man"
But its but that being at war with em
I definitely agree he’s opened a dialogue with North Korea, but he doesn’t seem to have accomplished anything
id rather not have US NK Relations in a bad state
That is true
id agree
Sure, but that wasn’t the particular question, I was wondering about negotiation
Lol was Obama at war with them? And relations are good right now? How many missile scares have we had with NK
