As long as when the time comes to choose between Creepy/Sleepy/Grabby Biden and Crazy Bernie, they don't throw their vote in for someone else (thereby sealing a really unfortunate and unwanted Biden VS Trump battle)

2019-09-11 06:20:27 UTC

Then again, like 3v6en8 said too, the DNC process is pretty broken anyways

2019-09-11 06:21:02 UTC

So individual voters don't really mean all that much when it comes to picking a democratic nominee ughhh

2019-09-11 13:18:26 UTC

What’s wrong with the DNC process?

2019-09-11 13:19:50 UTC

Btw, you can’t say that trump’s approval rating with minorities is higher this time around than 2016, because he didn’t have an approval rating in 2016

2019-09-11 14:50:06 UTC

the DNC has a weird voting system; the have delegates representing a state and superdelegates

2019-09-11 14:51:54 UTC

delegates are suppose to vote with their state while superdelegates can do what ever they want

2019-09-11 14:53:04 UTC

delegates are elected but superdelegates are not

2019-09-11 14:53:24 UTC

thats where the sus things happen with party elections

2019-09-11 14:54:48 UTC

I dont think trump really needs votes from minorities; he lost his mojo with maga so the elections going to be hard

2019-09-11 14:56:01 UTC

and a lot of people are jumping onto the band wagon on who hates trump the most; thats the new election process

2019-09-11 16:15:00 UTC

Ok so- firstly most superdelegates are elected

2019-09-11 16:15:32 UTC

They also are barred from voting on the first ballot, which means they’re essentially tiebreakers now

2019-09-11 16:16:41 UTC

Second- the parties are not lower-case-d democratic institutions

2019-09-11 16:18:36 UTC

The super delegates are the party leaders, they are just deciding who they want to nominate

2019-09-11 16:19:29 UTC

Only 20 (2.7%) of the superdelegates are not elected

2019-09-11 16:21:00 UTC

And those are all former elected officials, like Obama, Clinton and Carter are among those 20

2019-09-11 16:21:48 UTC

is it only 20?

2019-09-11 16:21:54 UTC

that doesnt seem that much

2019-09-11 16:23:28 UTC

Yeah, it’s not that much

2019-09-11 16:27:23 UTC

i guess most super delegates are elected in some way

2019-09-11 16:28:01 UTC

still, superdelegates fucked bernie 15% of the nomination

2019-09-11 17:06:53 UTC

@Platinum Spark I didn't mention anything about approval ratings, I said that he's gaining more minority support.

2019-09-11 17:07:26 UTC

Hopefully that clears up my statement

2019-09-11 19:14:52 UTC

@Cobra Commander The article you quoted is about approval ratings

2019-09-11 19:17:05 UTC

The author is suggesting that approval rating and vote total are synonymous- we know that they are not

2019-09-11 19:17:32 UTC

Ok time to debate up in this bitch

2019-09-11 19:18:07 UTC

In fact, if they were, trump would be looking at a catastrophic map in 2020, showing him negative in OH, WI, MI, PA, FL, NC, AZ & TX

2019-09-11 19:18:08 UTC

GG @Platinum Spark, you just advanced to level 12!

2019-09-11 19:18:24 UTC

2019-09-11 19:19:04 UTC

2019-09-11 19:19:35 UTC

You can thank the squad for that

2019-09-11 19:19:48 UTC

You can 😔

2019-09-11 19:21:37 UTC

The midwest has constantly been lied to

2019-09-11 19:22:25 UTC

And it's so cringe to see the candidates pretend to care about them

2019-09-11 19:24:07 UTC

Ok, so how is he going to make up all the ground he’s lost in PA?
