And I can absolutely empathize with the sort of "peer pressured hate" in regards to Trump, I used to be almost exactly like Sophiesticated in that regard.
Watching Trump's old campaign debates it really makes sense why he has support. The ego of it all and his confidence. It really is fun to be on his side.
But then you reconsider the foreign policy, the hypocritical remarks, and especially the way some of his supporters talk about him. They are beyond legality. They really truly don't care what he does.
Some of his supporters are definitely quite out there, but to be totally honest I've been able to engage in constructive dialogue more with trump supporters than with anti-trump people.
His foreign policy is probably where I have the most issues with him, though.
