The problem is this, in college, who’s ideas do you have, do you have your own ideas, or the ideas of your professor?

@Yusa generally how it works is in the early classes you’re getting knowledge from the professor, things that have been agreed upon in the discipline
Then once you know more about it you’re doing your own research and the professor is more just facilitating discussion
And people will challenge the professor and they end up being like just another student
