Ramadan is essentially a way for everybody to be reminded of the poor
that's all
it's a symbolism of where the poor works from sunrise to sunset
having little nothing to eat
until after they are done working and they are eating their meal before sleeping
you are not allowed to drink water because the working poor had no breaks to even drink water
that is if you want to exercise ramadan to its fullest extent for ramadan is just a method of self-reflection
