Everything else is just men talking about him.

2019-08-03 13:47:11 UTC

And men are fallible

2019-08-03 13:50:17 UTC

Ofcourse

2019-08-03 13:50:33 UTC

It will never be accurate

2019-08-03 13:52:46 UTC

Nothing is accurate. Except maybe the first books written and even then they were pened after he died

2019-08-03 16:51:14 UTC

There's no evidence whatsoever for your stupid supernatural garbage.

2019-08-03 16:52:04 UTC

As far as fairy tales go, Buddhism is one I enjoy as well though

2019-08-03 18:47:20 UTC

@Deleted User The Bible is not solid proof for the existence of God and it doesn’t know much about God or how it came to be

2019-08-03 18:48:17 UTC

It’s a book written by man. Why take what a man have said for proof without any evidence? If someone told you that shrek is a God, would you believe it?

2019-08-03 18:48:54 UTC

I have no problems against religious people but you gotta be more rational in arguments and at least provide proof to back up your claims

2019-08-03 18:53:35 UTC

Can we talk about philosophy and not religion for once?

2019-08-03 18:53:50 UTC

I feel like that topic gets neglected

2019-08-03 19:47:38 UTC

What philosophy would you like? @Boo

2019-08-03 19:48:35 UTC

@Deleted User Nihilism

There are things in and out of this world that no man could ever explain in detail. No one was there for the beginning, therefore no one can truly know what happened. The “Big Bang” may be the most accepted among the scientific community, but no one could have possibly documented that event. There are countless documents however, from friend and foe alike, that correspond to prove that Jesus was publicly crucified and then resurrected. The Bible is obviously the main one, but also documents and testimony from many foes, including the Jewish Sanhedrin, the very council of men who sent Jesus to the cross. The one that stands out the most is the testimony of the apostle Paul. He was a man who hated Jesus, and persecuted/killed anyone in his time who believed in him. But, through his own personal supernatural encounter (which is documented beyond the Bible), he came to believe as well, and went to his death repeatedly claiming Jesus was alive and well. If he were to say near his public execution that Jesus were indeed dead and gone forever, he would have lived a longer life. But he never went against his preaching or denounced it when his own life was put in jeopardy. This is the story of many others, including missionaries of today. The evidence indeed adds up, but in the end, evidence won’t make people believe something. You have to have faith by your own accord, also known as the principle of free will. No person can make another believe or do something that the other goes against, and that other person enjoy it too. It all really comes down to individual faith.

@James McKinnon Wrong. We've dated it by carbon dating. Furthermore, yes they accounted for his existence but not that he was the son of God or that he performed miracles.

2019-08-03 21:47:58 UTC

I’m not questioning the age of the universe, I’m saying that unless you were to take a time machine to around 13.8 billion years ago, you could never know what exactly happened in the “Big Bang.” Also, documents from friend and foe have proven that Christ’s miracles did indeed happen, from the water into wine to the resurrection. As for proving he is he son of God, it depends on whether you believe his words or not. I for one do believe.

2019-08-03 22:08:41 UTC

@James McKinnon That's just idiotic empiricism. There are a lot of things we haven't seen but they are proven, such as gravity or radiation.

2019-08-03 22:08:49 UTC

Not very a good argument.

2019-08-03 22:57:06 UTC

Of course gravity and radiation are proven, because they are forces that are constantly in motion all around us. We can measure them whenever we want. But the Big Bang isn’t a force. It is a singular event. Therefore, it cannot me measured, nor can we recreate it. Not only that, it is an event that “happened” 13.8 billion years ago. Without true documentation, the Big Bang is still up in the air on whether it truly brought the universe into existence or not.

@tripp#9117 there will never be solid proof of God

2019-08-04 00:19:20 UTC

In fact. No proof of God will ever existm

2019-08-04 00:24:55 UTC

The real question is whether or not there is actually ANYTHING stupider than believing in a monotheistic religion

2019-08-04 00:25:37 UTC

Every insane conspiracy theory is dwarfed by this burning pile of trash

2019-08-04 00:58:41 UTC

@Deleted User There are lots of stuff that suggests the existence of a God

2019-08-04 00:59:08 UTC

But monotheistic religions won’t be able to fully interpret or understand this God, it’s impossible

2019-08-04 00:59:21 UTC

This God doesn’t personally talk to anyone

2019-08-04 01:01:11 UTC

salutations

2019-08-04 01:01:15 UTC

Good evening

2019-08-04 01:09:46 UTC

@Dr.Cosby Why are you such a troll? People are here wanting to have legitimate debates, and here you are, bashing and insulting anyone who dares go against what you are for, or is for what you’re against. You are such a hypocrite.

2019-08-04 01:17:24 UTC

@James McKinnon Show me where I'm a hypocrite, you sack of shit. You have proven yourself to be indoctrinated with idiotic beliefs and capable only of parroting superstitious garbage. I have no respect for you or your ideas, and I will treat you accordingly.

2019-08-04 01:21:41 UTC

Just yesterday you called me a troll for telling you nothing but facts. I was never rude, and I never intentionally bashed or insulted anyone. And here you are, bashing and insulting me and others for what we do or do not believe in. I’ve come here for a debate. It seems to me you’re here to do nothing but tear people down or discard their beliefs, should they differ from your own. You have done nothing but shown me that you are a troll. @Dr.Cosby

2019-08-04 01:22:17 UTC

Being disrespectful is trolling now? Hahaha

2019-08-04 01:22:24 UTC

Try again.

2019-08-04 01:23:25 UTC

Intentionally spreading false information and promoting discrimination, bigotry, and anti-science is what you're guilty of.

2019-08-04 01:25:28 UTC

@Dr.Cosby Discrimination? Bigotry? Anti-science? Really. Wow.
You are not just being disrespectful. You are literally telling people REPEATEDLY to kill themselves because they don’t go along with what you believe. Would someone truly looking for a legitimate and civilized debate do so?

2019-08-04 01:25:28 UTC

GG @James McKinnon, you just advanced to level 3!

2019-08-04 01:26:18 UTC

@James McKinnon You couldn't show me where I was a hypocrite. Now fail to show me where I'm repeatedly telling people to kill themselves.
