Thats the old site
Is the new one
@tripp because if you read the bible. Jesus came in the form of Godm
They have rideshares too if anyone wants a free ride to the course.
I mean God came in the form of jesus*
It looks like only 10 day courses now if you are a new student
30 for old students
Gotta do 10 first
@tripp th Abrahamic God is one. But you choose which of the events and commands you truly follow
No person will make you believe In God. You have to try and find him yourself
I only read the parts that are the words of Jesus
Everything else is just men talking about him.
And men are fallible
Ofcourse
It will never be accurate
Nothing is accurate. Except maybe the first books written and even then they were pened after he died
There's no evidence whatsoever for your stupid supernatural garbage.
As far as fairy tales go, Buddhism is one I enjoy as well though
@Deleted User The Bible is not solid proof for the existence of God and it doesn’t know much about God or how it came to be
It’s a book written by man. Why take what a man have said for proof without any evidence? If someone told you that shrek is a God, would you believe it?
I have no problems against religious people but you gotta be more rational in arguments and at least provide proof to back up your claims
Can we talk about philosophy and not religion for once?
I feel like that topic gets neglected
What philosophy would you like? @Boo
@Deleted User Nihilism

There are things in and out of this world that no man could ever explain in detail. No one was there for the beginning, therefore no one can truly know what happened. The “Big Bang” may be the most accepted among the scientific community, but no one could have possibly documented that event. There are countless documents however, from friend and foe alike, that correspond to prove that Jesus was publicly crucified and then resurrected. The Bible is obviously the main one, but also documents and testimony from many foes, including the Jewish Sanhedrin, the very council of men who sent Jesus to the cross. The one that stands out the most is the testimony of the apostle Paul. He was a man who hated Jesus, and persecuted/killed anyone in his time who believed in him. But, through his own personal supernatural encounter (which is documented beyond the Bible), he came to believe as well, and went to his death repeatedly claiming Jesus was alive and well. If he were to say near his public execution that Jesus were indeed dead and gone forever, he would have lived a longer life. But he never went against his preaching or denounced it when his own life was put in jeopardy. This is the story of many others, including missionaries of today. The evidence indeed adds up, but in the end, evidence won’t make people believe something. You have to have faith by your own accord, also known as the principle of free will. No person can make another believe or do something that the other goes against, and that other person enjoy it too. It all really comes down to individual faith.
@James McKinnon Wrong. We've dated it by carbon dating. Furthermore, yes they accounted for his existence but not that he was the son of God or that he performed miracles.
I’m not questioning the age of the universe, I’m saying that unless you were to take a time machine to around 13.8 billion years ago, you could never know what exactly happened in the “Big Bang.” Also, documents from friend and foe have proven that Christ’s miracles did indeed happen, from the water into wine to the resurrection. As for proving he is he son of God, it depends on whether you believe his words or not. I for one do believe.
@James McKinnon That's just idiotic empiricism. There are a lot of things we haven't seen but they are proven, such as gravity or radiation.
Not very a good argument.
Of course gravity and radiation are proven, because they are forces that are constantly in motion all around us. We can measure them whenever we want. But the Big Bang isn’t a force. It is a singular event. Therefore, it cannot me measured, nor can we recreate it. Not only that, it is an event that “happened” 13.8 billion years ago. Without true documentation, the Big Bang is still up in the air on whether it truly brought the universe into existence or not.
@tripp#9117 there will never be solid proof of God
*
In fact. No proof of God will ever existm
The real question is whether or not there is actually ANYTHING stupider than believing in a monotheistic religion
Every insane conspiracy theory is dwarfed by this burning pile of trash
@Deleted User There are lots of stuff that suggests the existence of a God
