Yes..

2019-10-07 23:41:32 UTC

That's silly

2019-10-07 23:41:39 UTC

Hardly,

2019-10-07 23:41:45 UTC

I'm an anti theist.

2019-10-07 23:42:00 UTC

Religion is stupid and only halts the advancement of society.

2019-10-07 23:42:03 UTC

If we are to assume the universe is intentional

2019-10-07 23:42:07 UTC

At least now a days.

2019-10-07 23:42:27 UTC

Why can't we do the same with God

2019-10-07 23:42:31 UTC

Full disclosure: I'm Christian

2019-10-07 23:43:00 UTC

Science can't yet explain the big bang, so people use god to justify unknowns, and when presented with facts about other issues, it "can be explained by God"

2019-10-07 23:43:14 UTC

Religon is stupid and should be abolished.

2019-10-07 23:43:20 UTC

No

2019-10-07 23:43:21 UTC

A lot of things are used as stop-gap ideas

2019-10-07 23:43:26 UTC

there should be freedom of religion

2019-10-07 23:43:26 UTC

Not just God

2019-10-07 23:43:28 UTC

@Deleted User I mean one of the primary things I’ve always said is that I don’t believe in a morally perfect God. I think God could absolutely take an action which is from our perspective evil, and classify as a gracious evil by human estimation.

2019-10-07 23:43:32 UTC

Okay? Religon is the biggest.

2019-10-07 23:43:39 UTC

I just don’t see why that means I should not believe in a God.

2019-10-07 23:43:40 UTC

This is religion and philosophy, not science and religion.

2019-10-07 23:43:45 UTC

Vibe...

2019-10-07 23:43:52 UTC

The lots of different definition of God than most people use

2019-10-07 23:43:53 UTC

@Otto More like freedom to belive in sky wizzards and lessen the advancement of the people.

2019-10-07 23:44:01 UTC

If God is all powerful and all good there would be no evil in the world

2019-10-07 23:44:02 UTC

simple as

2019-10-07 23:44:06 UTC

@fuck12moredeadcops So you agree to subjective morality then?

2019-10-07 23:44:11 UTC

Yeah

2019-10-07 23:44:20 UTC

@Deleted User Science and philosophy are very tightly knit.

2019-10-07 23:44:21 UTC

I don’t believe in objective morality

2019-10-07 23:44:27 UTC

Why not?

2019-10-07 23:44:38 UTC

Of course not, it would be stupid to think morality is objective.

2019-10-07 23:44:40 UTC

Everything in philosophy you're very tightly knit

2019-10-07 23:44:49 UTC

Bro

2019-10-07 23:45:00 UTC

Let me bring the partners in crime argument

2019-10-07 23:45:01 UTC

Brb

2019-10-07 23:45:17 UTC

@Deleted User Listen you are still experimenting with your intellectual powers but you need to relax and stop acting like your some overpowered Mega-mind individual that thinks everything you know is right and if anyone dare to argue against it must be refuted. Everything you are saying isn't true its expressed because that just what you believe in and i respect that. Don't argue with people and try to drown out the conversation by saying they are wrong.

2019-10-07 23:45:19 UTC

@pennypal Philosophy paves the way more science, it's that simple.

2019-10-07 23:45:44 UTC

So then we decide who is immoral and guilty according to marjority rules?

2019-10-07 23:45:50 UTC

King if you don't get out this channel I'm going to send an even stronger argument

2019-10-07 23:45:54 UTC

Philosophy is the "why" and science is the "this is why".

2019-10-07 23:46:00 UTC

I’ve yet to hear an argument for an objective morality which holds up to scrutiny. The most convincing objective moralities stem from a belief in theism, and I don’t think someone can empirically prove the existence of a God, they can only rationalize it’s existence, so it’s insufficient for asserting that all should follow that particular moral code. @Deleted User

2019-10-07 23:46:00 UTC

GG @fuck12moredeadcops, you just advanced to level 7!
