lOLOL lgbt Muslims
wow
what a joke
I never broached sharia at all
You brought it up
I'm aware you never brought it up, I'm saying you are ignoring a significant factor that should be considered
you are completely ignoring it
so you can look woke
what do they do to gays in Saudi Arabia?
I'm just expressing my experience. To be a Muslim, you practice the Five Pillars. None of them talk about Sharia, which is mostly based on interpretations after Muhammed's death.
Christianity big gay
You can’t even do anything in monotheistic religions
There are so many rules
Saudi Arabia is under the yoke of a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam
Christians aren't tossing gays off buildings last I checked though
Not in this era at least
yes, yes, I'm aware
you are bringing nothing new to the discussion
not you
Ah
The issue are fundamentalist zealots. Islam is not unique having those. Christianity has them. Buddhism has them. Hinduism has them. Judeism has them. Religious fundamentalism is the cancer, the form is irrelevant.
> According to the survey findings, most Muslims believe sharia is the revealed word of God rather than a body of law developed by men based on the word of God.
> In 17 of the 23 countries where the question was asked, at least half of Muslims say sharia is the revealed word of God.
Fundamentalist Zealots aren't a bad thing, it just depends on the religion
Most Christians would say the same thing about the Book of Leviticus. That doesn't mean we follow it today. Even many Jews take a considered interpretation of many of the lines in Leviticus.
GG @DrYuriMom, you just advanced to level 9!
are there parts of the world where Christians are still killing homosexuals?
Yes
where
Africa
lol
wow
And the US, on more than a few occasions
anyway, enjoy your wokeness
@Deleted User
What you do by bringing those people in is bring their culture in, and I like my own culture
Pretty sure that's how the native americans felt. the US is basically a country of immigrants, and even the people who live in it now aren't natives.
if you can't defend something, it isn't yours
I've studied the history of Baghdad in the dark ages. We owe Islam so much. Algebra, our star names, even our numbers - all came from Islam.
My experience is that differences enrich us.
