brain death is not recoverable

2019-05-07 14:49:26 UTC

but its not realistic

2019-05-07 14:49:39 UTC

that human has the capability to survive outside its mother's womb

2019-05-07 14:49:48 UTC

thats what we're going by

2019-05-07 14:49:55 UTC

So the criteria for whether a fetus is alive or not is the exact minute it has brain activity and whether or not it can survive outside the womb?

Your logical trap doesnt apply. Of course we would be hypocrites under your nonexistant hypothetical but that does not prove anything because it does not happen

2019-05-07 14:50:12 UTC

Before those points it's entirely acceptable to kill it, but it isn't killing because it "isn't alive"?

2019-05-07 14:50:23 UTC

Yes

2019-05-07 14:50:34 UTC

yes

2019-05-07 14:50:37 UTC

yes

2019-05-07 14:50:42 UTC

If I throw a rock have I killed it??

2019-05-07 14:50:49 UTC

murder = killing something that IS alive

2019-05-07 14:50:52 UTC

I guess this is where we end the discussion, no matter what I do I cannot change your moral views on an issue

2019-05-07 14:51:03 UTC

I'm sorry you reject science

2019-05-07 14:51:15 UTC

But, it isn't a debate about science, lmao

2019-05-07 14:51:36 UTC

It's a moral debate first and foremost on what criteria you use to perceive life, or if potential life is enough over actual life

2019-05-07 14:51:36 UTC

you tried lol its fine

2019-05-07 14:51:39 UTC

"Yeetus that fetus" - My hero

2019-05-07 14:52:03 UTC

but if you believe in science is right then science is related

2019-05-07 14:52:03 UTC

GG @thomas the choo choo tree, you just advanced to level 5!

2019-05-07 14:52:14 UTC

Morality isn;t objective so it has to be scientific

2019-05-07 14:52:20 UTC

Otherwise you can't prove anything

2019-05-07 14:52:26 UTC

its so wrong to take away the rights of an actual living being because of "the potential of a life"

2019-05-07 14:52:43 UTC

Morality is nothing but some bullshit taught to you as a child so you don't shove the girl you like

2019-05-07 14:52:57 UTC

I truly believe that 50 years from now, we're going to look back on widespread abortion the same way we do on lobotomies and electroshock therapy. Science is not a tool for moral right or wrong, because science does not determine whether potential life is enough or not. Science tells you how and why things work, not if it's ok they do so

2019-05-07 14:52:58 UTC

pro lifers = absolute moralists

2019-05-07 14:53:05 UTC

pro choicers = relative moralists

2019-05-07 14:53:14 UTC

Morality is just bullshit, right man. You have a good day.

2019-05-07 14:53:24 UTC

It is

2019-05-07 14:53:29 UTC

lol i disagree on that

2019-05-07 14:53:31 UTC

how did this become a salt battle lol

2019-05-07 14:53:49 UTC

science proves stuff

2019-05-07 14:53:54 UTC

If you truly believe that then, wow. There is a point in a discussion where somebody is so radically different that finding common ground is impossible

2019-05-07 14:54:17 UTC

we did find common ground

2019-05-07 14:54:23 UTC

late term abortions are wrong

2019-05-07 14:54:23 UTC

Believing that morals are pointless in a discussion regarding the morality of potential live is just a waste of time. We did, ashnaa, but not komrade

2019-05-07 14:54:36 UTC

yeah

2019-05-07 14:55:01 UTC

You make your morals

2019-05-07 14:55:18 UTC

Of course make your own morals. Does that mean they don't matter?

2019-05-07 14:55:44 UTC

If you don't have morals then what do you have to base decisions off of?
