Well then you should know that longer more in-depth things make your points more valid because your able to tell them the point, give evidence and data, show why your point is good, and end it
If you need to "provide evidence" for everything you claim, if means your arguments don't stand on their own merits. Constant screams for "proof" are usually the sign someone doesn't have a good enough argument of their own.
