Right?
I'm saying black people will have to go through things irrespective of their IQ's, in which, would make it harder for them to make it through school
and as such, I'd use the admissions process as a means of equalization due to this.
They're not really
if IQ is based on genetic
As mean as it sounds, it would just mean they're dumbed and can't achieve as much
You can have IQ be genetic and still recognize that black people are treated unfairly.
How
No I actually wouldn't be for affirmative action if "black people" were factually inferior mentally. Because its not other race's fault for their genetic inferiority. However, all of that is bullshit because black people, if black people are defined by the color of their skin and not their ethnic background or dna, have no evidence supporting their mental inferiority.
A low IQ white person wouldn't be disenfranchised as much as a low IQ black person
This is unfair treatment
As such, you'd work to equalize it
How
Affirmative action is simply the recognition of unfair treatment
Racism?
Its not dealing with race and IQ
Mmh
this is true.
Racism typically isn't justified on the basis of IQ, just them being outside of their out group
Affirmative action overlooks context in my observation.
We concluded that black people are being treated unfairly by society because of the following reasons
They are as intelligent as other races
but for some reason, statistically they don't achieve near as much as other races
We didn't conclude this
Therefore, they must be treated unfairly
But
if it's in their genes
Then it's another story
Once again its perfectly possible to mistreat low IQ people
and further disadvantage them
true but the argument would be weak
There is zero evidence that *being black* affects IQ.
There is
There is no research on it.
Show me.
Melanin doesn't change IQ
ancestry perhaps can
but even if so, IQ goes up with each year of education
I didn't say race caused IQ
thus demonstrating IQ is elastic.
