I don't like this tax because it reduces investment; employment and employment growth; macroeconomic growth; wages; innovation; competition; entrepreneurship; raises prices among other things.
It has real long-short run effects too.
I have evidence for all of these effects in those studies I sent too.

Not always no, say we cut subsidies; privatise state owned assets and companies; cut social programs.
It won’t necessarily lead to lower growth, the effect of lower taxes and the first two policies will likely lead to higher growth.
