Well to me the purpose of economics is to distribute rescources effectively and fairly via economic Theory that works.

Well in all reality economics has a different purpose based on who you ask. Some say it's to serve the people, some say the workers, some say the rich, some say the poor, it's weird man

Our economics in the United States has the purpose of generating profits, China's is to produce a self sufficient country, and the EU is trying their hand at for the people.
