I think we are the stupid ones to be honest. For not seeing the telltale signs of history repeating itself. Read up on the Armenian genocide, what lead up to it to how it was implemented. Lots of similarities as to what is happening here, yet we do not counter this at all.
The stunt by the BLF regarding the white dolls for instance seems stupid to us but it is a symbolic, I am certain we will see more of that exact stunt being done, then one day it will be white babies removed from "black" hospitals.

Lets take Jacob Zuma as an example: we all view him as stupid since he didnt even finish grade 3. Still he managed to loot this country dry during his term. He may perhaps have his day in court but best case scenario is he will be found guilty but will be let of the hook and serve his jailtime under house arrest in nKandla. Almost like how Pablo Escobar served out his jailtime in his own prison that he built and administrated.

Maybe you could make that argument yes, however smart is defined in positive context, so if you want to consider what Zuma is doing as positive, by all means, I just don't consider it positive.
I get the whole concept of not underestimating these guys and just assuming they are idiots. But I'd rather stick to not trusting them than elevating them in any way
