Anyone ever check out those .22 PPS50s?
nope
I'm not really a .22lr fan
I think it's good for three things
1) Training people who have no idea wtf a gun is or how it works
2) Handgun practice, reproduction models in 22lr are EXCELLENT for this purpose
3) 100-250 yard target shooting, especially in variable wind conditions
ideally with a bolt action but it honestly doesn't matter
I only have a savage FVSR
the rest are gone
it's pretty cheap to shoot I just don't get why anyone would
Maybe chase after a 9mm carbine
Don't get me wrong, I just think it'd be a blast to inexpensively shoot with a fifty round plinker
**Forgotten Weapons** Uploaded a new youtube video!

AR15 in-line bolt feeding froma P90 magazine. Uhmph
hickhock 45 does some great videos too
Woo
wew that thing is pretty sexy lookin
Anyone got news on the Railgun that i think MIT or DARPA is working on?
Shelved last I heard, but they aren't scrapping it.
I mean, last I heard its still too heavy for infantry use. Still probably a cheaper replacement for dealing with missiles or mortar fire.
it won't be too heavy in microgravity, which means the SPACE FORCE WILL HAVE RAILGUNS
I did not consider that possibility
space force will need rail guns. it'll be just like ALIENS with the CMC
Though, id imagine the soldiers going crazy for the lack of recoil
nuke shit from orbit
Railguns would probably create less heat than traditional firearms which is important for space force infantry
Too used to expecting recoil
Since there's no air for the heat to dissipate through in space
I find that absolutely fascinating. Wierd I thought liquids freeze in space.
space weapons will likely consist of a lot of railguns and compressed air guns
since compressed air would work way better in a vacuum
Then again, there no atmosphere stopping the heat from the sun
Battles in space will be wierd as well. Vaccum means lack of sound.
So if you were not watching out, well, your buddies could have been blown up under your nose.
