night man
@Grenade123 you make a very good point there 🤔 maybe I’ve pictured New York City in a too idealistic light...
@Khanclansith can I come to Texas? I like freedom and guns and hate socialism? Do I need an f250 and a cowboy hat? 😂
@GodOfMercy (Jack) I lived my whole life with 2 hours drive of NYC, trust me, I know something of what it's like there. My cousin actually lives there working for a law firm (that whole family is pretty well off to start with. Aunt owns a marketing company)
So NYC is garbage?
😂
But there could be bias in your answer 😂 like how I dislike Melbourne but I’ve lived in Melbourne for my entire life
NYC is the east coast LA... a city thats been ruining itself with liberalism..
funny how liberal overrun cities have a high crime rate...
Sounds like Melbourne...
Or homelessness
To be honest, I dont think ive heard of a majourity red city.
I had to resist the opportunity to make an extremely off-color joke today.
There's a local sports and outdoors shop that does big fall school shopping season specials and such. I went and bought some additional ammo to fill out my new strip clips. I was half tempted to say I was doing my 'back to school' shopping.
Half is a little over. I was, like 10% tempted.
It's probably a good thing you were able to resist the temptation in this day and age
Oh, yeah.
It would've been an interesting court case...
Society doesn't like an edgy boi.
If you were, the Judge would have determined your intent for you
cant get ammo easily in scotland anyways
i dont think
i dunno
@RyeNorth nah, that shit would have been funny as fucke

Hear me out.
Double barrel revolver
Think O/U shotgun, but fed from a cylinder so you'd have 6 shots or 3 from both barrels
Would be somewhat problematic in larger calibers, I suspect, what with twice the recoil, but I could see an application for small holdout guns as well as shotguns, seeing that stocks tend to help with recoil
What, like this thing? https://gizmodo.com/5908568/triple-barrel-revolver-makes-anyone-an-expert-marksman
No
Six chambers
but two opposing chambers are lined up with barrels at once
You'd have barely any extra bulk/weight but more stopping power for, say, a .38 and more mag size for a 20/12ga
I can't really make a prototype for the time being unfortunately
adding an extra barrel, hammer, etc. adds a significant amount of extra weight, and putting the two barrels opposing instead of next to each like the above gun, makes solving things like hammer pretty troublesome to solve, and very bulky. In the triple-barrel above you only need one physical hammer with three heads
with something like the above design, if you want to be able to fire x2 and x1 interchangeably, just put a little folding bit on one hammer that you can flip (as seen on for example the LeMat revolver) so it doesn't connect
It still needs a bit of work when it comes to rotating the cylinder 1 chamber instead of 2... An obvious solution would be to just use a 7 round revolver rotating two chambers at a time, so you either fire 2+2+2+1 with both hammers engaged, or 1+1+1+1+1+1+1 with only one engaged
Just get a Lemat revolver. Underbarrel grapeshot.
