i don't understand why no one has developed a rimless shotgun shell

it'd solve all the problems with feeding from magazines.

I'm guessing the issue is getting enough charge out of the primer to set it all off properly. I'm not aware of any rim fire cartridges with charges approaching a shotgun shell.
