That's an argument you made

2018-03-09 07:14:57 UTC

not one that I made.

2018-03-09 07:15:04 UTC

It's not my place to defend that.

2018-03-09 07:15:23 UTC

Why do you think africans aren't western then?

2018-03-09 07:16:49 UTC

Because they didn't develop the same forms of early governing that we did.

2018-03-09 07:17:42 UTC

It'd take far more research for me to get a more detailed answer as to why, but to say that formation of governing bodies is genetic is insanity.

2018-03-09 07:18:11 UTC

Europeans built monarchies

2018-03-09 07:18:15 UTC

Africans built tribes.

2018-03-09 07:18:19 UTC

Asia built monarchies

2018-03-09 07:18:24 UTC

Ok I look forward to hearing your reply.

2018-03-09 07:18:24 UTC

Native americans built tribes

2018-03-09 07:19:10 UTC

Wait since Asians and Europeans both had Monarchies then why isn't Asia western?

2018-03-09 07:19:31 UTC

GOOOOOOOOD QUESTION!

2018-03-09 07:19:47 UTC

They largely are, or at least have adopted aspects of western culture, haven't they?

2018-03-09 07:20:04 UTC

Oh yes, they have.

2018-03-09 07:20:12 UTC

BUT

2018-03-09 07:20:13 UTC

China used to be fully commie, but it wasn't working out until they adopted some captialism.

2018-03-09 07:20:25 UTC

Well, they're on their way to communism again, potentially.

2018-03-09 07:20:27 UTC

You know most of Asia was under European control for centuries.

2018-03-09 07:20:51 UTC

Yes. Your point?

2018-03-09 07:20:55 UTC

Well, to be fair, so were parts of Africa.

2018-03-09 07:21:25 UTC

why wouldn't they keep a better culture?

2018-03-09 07:21:45 UTC

remove better, replace with foreign.

2018-03-09 07:21:56 UTC

anyway

2018-03-09 07:22:00 UTC

But why?

2018-03-09 07:22:00 UTC

back to the GOOD QUESTION part of things

2018-03-09 07:22:03 UTC

Why?

2018-03-09 07:22:37 UTC

Over in the European corner of the world, we had Christianity.

2018-03-09 07:22:49 UTC

Over in the Asian corner, Christianity wasn't as much of a factor.

2018-03-09 07:22:54 UTC

So did other parts of the world.

2018-03-09 07:23:15 UTC

Aussie, how do you make a taco?

2018-03-09 07:24:01 UTC

yes I know religion is important but parts of Africa had it to but didn't become western.

2018-03-09 07:24:42 UTC

You're talking about these factors as if it's just a single one that makes up a culture.

2018-03-09 07:25:54 UTC

I think race is the defining factor. Western culutre in eastern europe survived communism becase culture is downstream from race.

2018-03-09 07:26:22 UTC

And yet you think 'White' is a race.

2018-03-09 07:26:42 UTC

I mean, damn

2018-03-09 07:26:44 UTC

That is what the caucasian race is known as.

2018-03-09 07:26:56 UTC

that's really how you REALLY let them get you.

2018-03-09 07:27:13 UTC

That's really how you let them be able to say 'There is no white culture', and actually have it sound true for a second.

2018-03-09 07:27:40 UTC

Since we're actually French, Irish, English, Scottish, German, Spainish, Norse...

2018-03-09 07:27:57 UTC

all of which have their own rich, vibrant cultures
