battlefield medic would fill both

2018-03-24 15:07:22 UTC

i mean hard as in the jobs that really require yuo to just hardball it

You can't just go "eeh i don't wanna, i don't feel my best today"

So anything from oil rigs to kicking everyones teeth in financially on wallstreet

2018-03-24 15:07:27 UTC

ICU nurse.

2018-03-24 15:07:50 UTC

or ofc, being a soldier on the frontlines

2018-03-24 15:08:08 UTC

@Dr.Wol what? you think a parent or nurse can just go "eeeeh, i don't feel like **feeding the kid today**"

2018-03-24 15:08:13 UTC

lmao

2018-03-24 15:08:21 UTC

like i said, here is a word for it, but hard is not it

2018-03-24 15:08:29 UTC

I mean, they can, that just makes them bad at their job

2018-03-24 15:08:43 UTC

that could be said for an oil rig worker

2018-03-24 15:08:47 UTC

hence my point

2018-03-24 15:08:54 UTC

a nurse can call in sick

a soldier in the trenches can't just go "eeh, you guys mind if i go for a drink 1000 meters back?"

2018-03-24 15:09:45 UTC

yes, but technically an oil rig worker could call in sick. i highly doubt they want a sick person who is at half performance messing around. Now, that doesn't mean they won't TRY and not call in sick

2018-03-24 15:10:10 UTC

but even a cop can call in sick. there are very few jobs you can't.

2018-03-24 15:10:31 UTC

hell, even a soldier gets a slightly easier job if sick, even on the front lines in the trenches.

2018-03-24 15:10:40 UTC

It would be sad for an oil worker, but Deepwater Horizon happened so......

2018-03-24 15:10:58 UTC

but this is off point

2018-03-24 15:11:13 UTC

yeah but you know what i mean right?

Basically the kind of jobs where unless you're seeing colors you shouldn't and basically walking becomes an expression of art, you're not just gonna be able to bail

2018-03-24 15:11:17 UTC

its something work vs nurture work.

2018-03-24 15:11:55 UTC

"have gone to Dependable Patrolium. DP"

2018-03-24 15:11:59 UTC

and yeah sorry, i'm very poor with words

2018-03-24 15:12:13 UTC

i can't think of the word so don't worry

2018-03-24 15:12:28 UTC

i think mechanical is a better description.

2018-03-24 15:12:43 UTC

requires design and working with human made things

2018-03-24 15:12:47 UTC

building stuff

2018-03-24 15:12:51 UTC

Engineering? 😛

2018-03-24 15:13:17 UTC

yeah, i think that covers most of the more male dominated fields

2018-03-24 15:13:31 UTC

engineering and conflict oriented roles

2018-03-24 15:13:37 UTC

like business

2018-03-24 15:13:43 UTC

Beta jobs vs nurturing jobs? 😛

2018-03-24 15:13:52 UTC

lmao

2018-03-24 15:14:41 UTC

Cuck jobs vs nurturing jobs

2018-03-24 15:14:56 UTC

still love when the left calls tech people "bros". All i can think of "Since when have nerds EVER been bros? Could you be more out of touch?"

2018-03-24 15:15:10 UTC

well Physics/Chemistry/Engineering etc are called Beta fields i believe?

2018-03-24 15:15:20 UTC

wut

2018-03-24 15:15:52 UTC

ooh wait, thats poor translation

2018-03-24 15:16:00 UTC

in Dutch they're called "Beta Sciences"

2018-03-24 15:16:11 UTC

which is our description of "Exact sciences" (aka, most STEM fields)

2018-03-24 15:16:18 UTC

aaaah
