Just quick question

2018-05-10 16:38:11 UTC

What would it be like if people implemented spartan style law today?

2018-05-10 16:38:22 UTC

give them a charismatic leader who brings out the inner desires of people then reinforces it in order to facilitate fanatisism and youll have full hitler. the people of the welmer republic didint want to gas the jews, take over europe, and live in an extremely regimented society, but eventually they did as he asked them what they wanted then told them what they wanted then culled them to the point they would die for him

2018-05-10 16:38:39 UTC

Think it will give them the discipline to avoid extremesm?

2018-05-10 16:39:42 UTC

i dont know much about spartan style law, im not that old

2018-05-10 16:40:04 UTC

not to mention extreme is just another term for antiestablisment

2018-05-10 16:40:58 UTC

antiestablishment can be very disciplined but just think the way things are is wrong. in order to keep extremism suppressed you need a world where people dont think the establisment is wrong

2018-05-10 16:41:35 UTC

after nazi germany formed believe it or not they had the least problems with extremists probably in history

2018-05-10 16:41:58 UTC

because if your not a nazi your not a german, and they were at war was anyone who wasent german

2018-05-10 17:34:41 UTC

by that logic, the USSR, China, and NK have less problem with extremists

2018-05-10 17:35:06 UTC

but that is what happens when you ARE the extremists

2018-05-10 18:48:41 UTC

idk how you think extreme left is "anti-establishment"

2018-05-10 18:49:06 UTC

in communism the government has all the power

2018-05-10 18:49:43 UTC

unless you mean anarchy lefties, but that's an even greater utopia

2018-05-10 18:57:53 UTC

Establishment, as in, the current order.

2018-05-10 19:03:33 UTC

anti-THE establishment

different from all establishment

related to a joke my gf told me the other day

Russian: "Get in car"
American: "Why do you talk like that, it makes you sound stupid."
Russian: "Me? stupid? In america you have to say get in THE car, because you might think it means any random fucking car. We are not that stupid is russia"

and ussr, china, and nk did have less problems with extremists. extremism cannot be objectively defined from a subjective perspective. its best defined as a position which is farthest from the position of the majority in which case the majority opinion is never extreme. when veiwed subjectively any opinion that is far enough from your own opinion is extreme regardless if you sit neer the majority or not. the extrem left is antiestablishment, to think otherwise would be silly, they are anarcocommunists inside liberal or authoritarian capitalisms. any communist in a western country is extreme politically though they may not nessicaraly be extreme actively, they do want to change the world you live in to something VERY different than it currently is

2018-05-10 21:48:55 UTC

Clearly the final solution to extremists is murder.

I recently discovered the snipping tool. #scissorhappy
