Most people are sheep if they werent society wouldn't work.

2018-06-19 05:48:27 UTC

But not everybody is.

2018-06-19 05:48:32 UTC

But a dictator requires everyone to be.

2018-06-19 05:48:46 UTC

Dictatorship is a very stupid idea

2018-06-19 05:48:58 UTC

It doesn't work consistently

2018-06-19 05:49:18 UTC

Just look at Cuba

2018-06-19 05:49:30 UTC

Aussie will say Cuba was commie, doesn't count.

2018-06-19 05:49:41 UTC

#NOTREALDICTATORSHIP

2018-06-19 05:49:41 UTC

All societies have most people do what a goverment tells them to do for exaple you stop at traffic lights.

2018-06-19 05:49:50 UTC

Cuba was more socialist...it even has private property

2018-06-19 05:50:06 UTC

at the whim of the dictator, anyway.

2018-06-19 05:50:22 UTC

I guarantee, if the dictator said you don't own that anymore, no refunds.

2018-06-19 05:51:51 UTC

It's the principal that matters, should a family vote for who will be the head of a household?

2018-06-19 05:52:19 UTC

Depends

2018-06-19 05:53:08 UTC

In what situlation should a family vote for the head of a household?

2018-06-19 05:53:49 UTC

I mean, if the head of the household is 70, has narcolepsy, and insists on a cross-country road trip

2018-06-19 05:54:00 UTC

with him as the sole driver

2018-06-19 05:54:22 UTC

Pretty sure I'd be voting for a recall.

2018-06-19 05:54:54 UTC

May I die peacefully in my sleep like my uncle

2018-06-19 05:55:02 UTC

Not screaming for dear life like the passengers in his van.

2018-06-19 05:55:12 UTC

Yes there needs to be a way for a leader to step down and that is the only thing democracy gets right.

2018-06-19 05:55:33 UTC

Okay, so you can remove the dictator.

2018-06-19 05:55:45 UTC

Does he step down voluntarily, or is he taken down by force?

2018-06-19 05:57:18 UTC

Look I know some dictators don't step down. The way I see it is that most dictators are motivated by two things, power and their place in hisotry.

2018-06-19 05:58:36 UTC

Their disire to keep themsleves in power will stop alot of dictors to step down while their disire for a good place in history might motivate them to step down when thier no longer able to run a country.

2018-06-19 05:58:53 UTC

Nice gif.

2018-06-19 05:59:31 UTC

But a dictatorship is an absolute form of government.

2018-06-19 06:00:26 UTC

Yes I know it has it's problems but I think that dictatorship under a fascist system works better than a democary.

2018-06-19 06:00:41 UTC

Therefore, you either have to wait for a natural death, PRAY that they'll step down, or if all else fails, sic semper tyrannis.

2018-06-19 06:01:24 UTC

Yes you do get some bad leaders some times but I would rather that then democracy.

2018-06-19 06:01:52 UTC

Oh, absolutely. Democracy is terrible on full scale.

2018-06-19 06:02:01 UTC

That's why the US isn't a Democracy.

2018-06-19 06:02:16 UTC

It's what happens because of democracy.

2018-06-19 06:02:28 UTC

Our original script writers knew that was a bad trope to use as a crutch

2018-06-19 06:02:42 UTC

(back to metaphor, lul)

2018-06-19 06:03:52 UTC

Look I think it's a bad metaphor because you don't vote for the script writer like you do in America so it's a bad analogy.

2018-06-19 06:05:05 UTC

I think you just don't understand the system I'm describing.

2018-06-19 06:05:37 UTC

I didn't vote for the script writer. Script writers have been dead for two centuries.

2018-06-19 06:09:09 UTC

I think the movie making process is a better metaphor for the type of goverment I want, you have the director (dictator), script writer, editors (civil service) and set workers are the working class all working together to create somthing greater then themsleves.

2018-06-19 06:11:14 UTC

All I'm saying is, we're the only nation where you can still yell either 'Fuck Muslims' or 'Fuck the President' and neither will get you arrested.
