The fact is Haiti is shit because of the people. Compare Haiti to Iceland. Iceland has almost no natural resources, farmland and most of it is volcanic wasteland and is just below the article. It's only real industry for most of it's history was fishing which it compettes with several nations over. Comapre that to Haiti a soil rich nation in the carrabean loaded with natural resources. So tell me why Iceland is more successful then Haiti?

1) Haiti faced international boycott in response to driving out the French. Everyone refused to trade with them. As a result their economy tanked. The only other nation to receive this level of trade denial in modern history is North Korea.
2) Haiti was absolutely garbage at adaptation to the modern world. It's only just now that they've begun to adapt to the booming tech industry
