Main problem with IPFS is that files hosted on it are unalterable. That means any law pertaining to content is effectively unenforceable. That might sound great if your goal is to defy the EU on Propositions 11 & 13, but it doesn't sound so great if you're trying to take down illegal porn.

OK, so EU finds you're in violation of a copyright, so then they can find the IPs of anyone hosting it and send them takedowns? Then how is this any different than HTTP? I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding here.
